Hiya,

I am confused by this, my gums bled just a little a couple of eves back and now again tonight and alot more. I know my gums and teeth are fine as I have been to the dentist recently. I know that is could just be a fluke or I maybe scratched my gums with the toothbrush but weird that has happened a couple of times when it hasnt happened before.

I was just wondering if anyone had this as an early sign, I am curious about it as it is something I have not had before during a 2WW so I am hoping its a good sign for me. I am currently 10 dpo (cos its gone midnight lol)

I know bleeding gums is somthing that can happen due to the hormones and progesterone causing the gums to swell but do you really think could happen this early? WOW...a long thread about GUMS!!! I am TTC obsessed  xx

Haha it is a sign hun, however my gums bleed regularly when I brush my teeth throughout the year for now apparent reason and my teeth are fine so don't let the crazy convince ya just yet ;) best of luck sweetie let's hope it's babytime for us both! xxxx

I've just started getting this, but I always was a late developer lmao xxxxxxxxx

hey im a dental nurse and also 29+3 weeks pregnant. If you usually have good oral health then bleeding gums can be a sign of pregnancy for sure.. I havnt suffered with it, but some advice would be to continue your usual brushing routine regardless of wether its bleeding as it isnt causing you any harm.. hope this helps and good luck xXx
