Dentist in tri 1?

Morning girls, I have to have a filling replaced tomorrow, is it ok to have the injection while in tri 1?? don't think I can man up enough to go with out some pain relief! X

Yes it's fine to have injection when pregnant but some dentist don't like to fit amalgam ( metal) fillings when your pregnant because of the mercury - I would ask him.x

hi funilly enough I am due to have filling on thrus when i saw ur message i thought id phone and check
they wont do it in first trimester in my dentist
she said i can either wait until the second trimester or until after had baby!

Most dentist prefer not to do any treatment while you're pregnant, unless its urgent. They sometimes will put in a temporary filling until your baby is born x x

Good job I asked u girls, called dentist and they won't see me now until in past 3 months so booked me in April! Fingers crossed I don't get any problems before then!! Thanks girls x

My dentist knows I'm pregnant and I was due to go today because I have a feeling I need a filling. He was happy to see me, but I had to cancel due to sickness
