***********December 2015- Final Leg***********

ahh sorry to hear that, its a pain having a cold when pg x

It's really sucky. Had my chicken soup and lots of oranges so hopefully I can chase it off

Glow - that's terrible that people don't offer you their seat, so mean. The bump is heavy to carry, if it were me I'd stand near them huffing and puffing a lot.

Name wise we go round and round in circles - opinions welcome.... Theo, Theodore, Flynn, Finley (not sure about Finley as I work with someone who has a boy called Finley).

Hey ladies. Sorry to hear your not feeling well Jill. Get well soon honey.

I'm still going through daily panics about the group b strep. Reading way more than is good for me!!!

7 wks 2 days left till maternity I will be 37 weeks. Getting tired now think this last stretch may be tough.

Love Theo and Flynn Becky. We think it will be Elliott or Amelia x x

lovely names ladies, we still don't have any definites much closer on the boys .. louie and dexter but on girls the list is about 10 long included are Edie, Amelie, Elsie & Sadie. Any preferences??

Are you ladies getting stared at a lot? I forgot about that from my other pregnancies! x

off work for a long weekend really looking forward to that and a trip to the seaside. I really love my job but 7 weeks and counting until I can get in my baby zone!

Are you ladies doing ante natal? We decided to go to nct to meet a few mummy / daddy friends how are yours so far?

And finally... Anyone doing hypnobirthing? I did it last time and plan to do the tracks and book daily from going on mat leave. I loved it!

lovely to hear from you all, sometimes being pregnant can feel quite lonely..... Nice to have people who feel how you do

MelissaSian - stop googling, seriously. I've done far to much of it in the past and ended up so stressed and upset. All will be fine.

Love the names Elliott and Louie. Never been very good with girls names as although we were yellow last time we kinda knew he was blue and we've been blue all the way this time. My neighbours daughter is Edie (Edith) which is cute, Sadie is lovely too.

I've not noticed being stared at, I'll be on the look out later!

I did NCT last preg, looked at doing a refresher course but they don't do them in my area. Doing the full course again seemed a bit expensive. As it is I don't have any local preg friends this time :-(

Not doing hypnobirthing as I'm having a section - didn't really work for me last time - I couldn't take the recordings seriously!

Yeah people tend to look at you then look at your stomach lol! Not been too bad though.

I am doing Daisy foundation ante natal classes right now, is a 6 week course for about £50, then i have 2 NHS ante natal classes booked that I can take my partner too in November.

6 weeks left for me, I can't wait!!! Have so much to sort out, have a new boiler being fitted in November, then got to decorate the nursery, buy a pram etc!!! xx

Al those girls names are lovely. We are going for amelie if we have a girl.

I am going to a hypno birthing course at the end of this month, really looking forward to it!

I have 28 working days left. I am so excited to hopefully have a few weeks with my feet up before meeting our little bear! X

I have stopped googling. Really want to talk properly with the conaultant in a couple of weeks though!

I did local nhs classes last time. Not doing anything this.... Hoping it will all come flooding back! Lol.

I too am having planned section (hopefully get a date when ia have my next growth scan in 3 weeks! Eek!)

Glow totally feel alone some days. It's soo helpful and supportive having the ladies on here to talk too. Totally agree. x z

I had an antenatal visit from the health visitor yesterday - done new initiative in our area.... She asked if we were ready etc made me realise how unready I am! Dashed to boots today for bits for my hospital bag! xx

hi everyone.

becky - ooh an ante natal visit that sounds interesting. As this is not my first baby I can't believe how little you see the medical professionals! As you know I have been quite sick so have regularly seen a gp but if I hadn't, it would have been from week 16 to week 28 then again until week 34! oh sorry add in the 20 week scan.

I find it all quite a surprise and definitely need to get my head down and focus on the birth a bit as it will be a hospital I havent Been to (other than the tour) and midwives I have never met. gonna take a whole load of zen to calm my Control freak ways on that one!!

Anyway ...daisy sounds great. I am doing pregnancy yoga it actually really helps with the back pain I am surprised how much :)

not long for us now ladies, I am sooo excited.

nct breastfeeding class was interesting actually. it surprised me because in my other pregnancies it was the only thing health visitors would encourage. It was nice to hear the nct talk about combi feeding if you are not establishing it great and also they were reasonably realisitic about how tough it can be. feeling more empowered this time rather than told off, especially when I had my son 9 yrs ago. Just going to go with the flow a bit more than the last two times and enjoy my baby.

Thank you for the name feedback. so bloody difficult when you don't tell people to get any feedback.

love
G xx

ps sorry lucylastic we can be name twins if we both go with Amelie. I love that name, it's the only one that's been on the list since day 1! xx

We knew our baby names before we even got married & started trying for a family. I hope when lo pops out they suit the names we have in mind! As the ones agreed are the only ones we both really like! X

We are the exact same. The 3 top names we have have been on our list for years. We will be stuffed if none of them suit her!! X

Glow glad you had a positive experience with the breast feeding class. I had an awful time with my Dd and had to give up bf'ing when she was 4 weeks. I am so scared to try again and have already purchases new bottles/steriliser etc as I don't want to feel tr immense preasure I felt the first time around. I will try but I also won't feel like I'm being a terrible mum if I have to move to formula quickly. My Dd is healthy happy and meets every milestone!

We've had baby names picked out for years also. We can only agree on one girl and one boys name so our final list has just one name for each! Let's hope it suits them!! We won't tell anyone the names we have picked out its driving my mil crazy - just makes me more determined not to tell!!!

Hope everyone having a lovely weekend x x

Melissa sian - snap! I posted in the formula feeding section about my fears! I feel a lot more up for giving it a go after that session but I never ever want to be the way I was with the others, it wasn't a good time for me :-(

I wish we could stick to our names, they keep changing ... drives me nuts not knowing! xx

hope you are all healthy and enjoyed the sun yesterday xx

Hubby and I are off on a romantic overnight break tomorrow - our first since ds arrived and our last for another 3-4 years :-) can't wait. Shame I can't enjoy a few glasses of wine! xx
