Dating Scan/Due dates!!

Hello fellow mummys (or mummys to be),

Does anyone know when we have the dating scan? What happens when you go?

Most importantly, what dates in October are you expecting your bundle of joys????

i'm expecting mine on 4th October...


Also, is it just me, or does anyone feel the urge to tell everyone!!! I know we should hold back cause its early days, but it just seems to come out of my mouth..

About the dating scan, I'm not sure, perhaps ask in Tri1?

Would have thought you go to the GP to confirm pregnancy and then be referred to midwife? x x

Hi there and welcome, you will usually have your dating scan at 12 weeks then your anomoly scan at around 20 weeks x

Hey hun, just what hopeful said really, should be around 12 weeks at my 12 week scan(was actually 14 weeks) she just took measurements of baby, she showed us the wee heart flickering and showed us that babys bladder was full lol! She pointed out babys spine too. I'm guessing yours will be pretty much the same, they basically just go over everything and make sure baby is ok Mine also booked me in for the 20 week scan x
