Cycle day?

Just wondering what day would I count as cd1? Im a bit confused about my cycle this month as I had a cervical biopsy on the 14th April and was due on the 24th but it arrived late. I started to get period pains on the 4th May and bleed a tiny bit everyday but didnt come on properly till 8th May, so do I class the 8th as cd1 even though I bleed before? Sorry for rambling hope it makes sense!

This will be my first proper month of ttc! Im really excited about it, just a little confused!

Hey hetty....from what I can gather when Ive asked this question you cound CD1 as the first day of propper blood flo....ie ignore the days spotting .... hope this helps and if Im wrong please feel free to correct me girls xxx
