Just catching up - not been on here much this week.

How are you all doing?

Emma - are you testing again this week? Have you got some positive symptoms? Do you know what the latest date is that AF will be here if you ov'd late?

Millie - how many dpo are you? Anything exciting to report? Is it acupuncture this week?

Georgesmum - how is life in Tri 1? Hope you're doing ok and feeling well at the mo?

I'm between 2 and 4dpo!! Got a low reading on the cb dual hormone digi Sat morning but then a peak at 9.30pm! Something made me test again and I was glad I did. No idea if that was the start or end of the surge. My temps suggested I ov'd Saturday but I'm not sure this is possible? My temp taking was a bit erratic 'cause of waking in the night so I'm not sure how reliable the readings were Sun-Tues. I also had ewcm Mon (and again today) so am confused. Have deffo ov'd now as reliable reading this morning. God, it's so confusing!!

The one thing I do know is that if I don't get a BFP this cycle it won't be for lack of bd'ing at the right time! OH has been a complete trooper

Ooh Sam your ov sounds confusing, maybe go with the second reading so that you will defo be late if AF doesn't arrive?

I'm 6dpo, (I think) of course I don't know for sure because I didn't opk but I am going to go with oving on cd9 like last month and I also had ov cramps on that day! I'm feeling really lethargic and sick, hungry today, and had a headache everyday for the past couple of days and sore boobs. My asthma got really bad on Monday night and so I've been given 5 days of steroid tablets to takeso I don't know whether what I've felt today and yesterday is due to them rather than bfp signs. But I'm hoping! I also read the steroid tablets can help implantation due to suppressing the immune system, seen some people actually use them with IVF cycles to help. Been dtd every other day this month so hopefully I have had good quality sperm- keeping it up all month in case I was totally wrong about ov! Yes, acupuncture on Saturday, not told OH the cost yet.. lol! xx

Well im not sure what's going on AF was due a week ago so I'm on eggshells now just thinking she's going to arrive any time

Symptom wise, sore boobs and frequent weeing, but I didn't get many symptoms when I was pregnant with my LO

my friend says I shouldn't test on my birthday but I think it may be lucky and if not I can eat chocolate and have a glass of wine or a bottle!! xxxx

Yeah it is exciting, I'm actually excited for this tww.. think its because I'm doing the testing thread!
Ooh your symptoms are looking promising and I think itl be good to test on your birthday as may be lucky and as you say you can drown sorrows in wine if not haha! Last year I had AF arrive for me when I was out at family members birthdays... 5 months ina row lol I was so angry! And this was with irregular cycles! Typical haha

That's a definite bonus re the steroid and implantation! Good plan on DTD every other day. I said to OH we'd do that after ovulation, but that means tonight and I'm knackered!

I hope you find acupuncture helpful. I went last week and going again on Saturday.

Emma - why don't you test the day before your birthday? Then if it's a BFP you can still have a birthday BFP celebration, but if it's not you won't be upset on your birthday. I don't like to think of you upset on your birthday!

I really don't think I'll even test on Sunday I may leave if until im like 3 weeks late!!!
I'm so scared to test now I think I'll just wait out AF..
This cycle it has made me hate testing perhaps because of the evaps then the dissopointment of the BFN last Friday

Perhaps if you just think you've ov'd late, then you won't think of yourself as 'late', if that makes sense. But if you'll be late ?this weekend, based on that last positive opk you had, you should definitely go for it! It's horrible being in limbo - you feel like if you're not pregnant, you just want AF to come so that you crack on with the next cycle.

Yes, been having acupuncture either every week or every 2 weeks, depending on where I am in the cycle. I've got a lot of confidence in him. Can't say I like the needles, but it's a means to an end! I told him about the intermittent pink cm I had on wiping from 10dpo (plus other things like sore breasts, which I don't usually get) and he thinks it's possible I experienced implantation but then had a very early miscarriage just before my period. That makes sense and weirdly gives me hope, as I have faith now that I can conceive. Obviously it would be a problem if it keeps happening though! Of course I will madly SS this cycle, expecting to see the same symptoms. Please let this 6th cycle be the one!!

I think if I Ovulated late the chances of me being pregnant are very low, we DTD valentines day when I got the positive opk (wierd that I did one at what i thought was 10dpo )

I may restart my acupuncture
I think what he said makes sense, you coukd if just had a failed implantation, I'm sure I've had it too as I had spotting and felt really pregnant a few months ago but then had AF 4 days late so im sure I almost got pregnant but didn't implant properly

Let's hope cycle 6 is your cycle hunny xxxx

Sounds like a chemical yeah, I've had two and with them I had symptoms and then bleeding a few days after bfp usually 2 or 3 days after af would be due xxxx

I know I'm testing-phobic anyway after all December's BFNs, but it did confirm to me why I don't test early, 'cause presumably I might have got a BFP and then AF would have come, so I'd have been gutted.

Anyway, I've booked to see the GP early on next cycle if AF does come, so that my day 3 and day 21 bloods can be booked in. She told me to come back in March if I was still trying...

As a contrast to that, and you might think this is weird, but having seen on another thread about thinking positive and buying something little for your baby-to-be, me and OH have both bought something! I thought he'd think I was bonkers when I mentioned it, but he completely embraced the idea and went out on his own and bought a couple of newborn hats. Melted my heart - both him and the hats!

I so hope we're all joining the other tri 1 ladies SOON!! FX you'll be leading the way Emma!

Aww that is so cute Sam well the first month we were ttc we bought a little penguin saying first christmas on it, Its in a drawer and I can't wait to get it out lol.
We also bought two onesies and some booties last preg! They are so cute lol I might get them out and look at them soon!

I hate getting bfns but doesnt usually stop me from testing early lol I'm a test a holic I think! Or just very impatient! Xxx

Yes, you should get them out for sure and look them every day. Positive reinforcement or something! I've got a pic of the hats as my background photo on my phone. Maybe I've finally lost the plot!

Thanks I'm feeling excited to get back on it this month - I haven't been ovulating as was having fortnightly periods but the past 3 months have been 30/26/24 days so our consultant thinks I may be ovulating now. I've got to get bloods for the next two months to see but I really hope I am!

I hope so. I've noticed some ewcm the last few months too which I've never had since we started ttc so I'm hoping that's a positive sign too. We've got the consultant again in April but fingers crossed it will be good news! I think we've been ttc for a similar amount of time
