concerned!!

I have just been to the toilet and i have a brown sort of discharge, it is a very small amount though, i am not having any different types of twinges than uusual. I did carry a a lot of shopping this morning so i don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Is this normal or should i be concerned? I don't see the doctor till the 11th march and i don't want to tell anyone just incase i am paranoid and get them worried, if there is no reason too. I am only 4 weeks and 5 days gone. I have not had for a couple of days so i know its nothing to do with that lol.
If any one has experinced this let me know.

this is normal i had bleeding with my 1st pregnancy around 5 wks and all was ok i had a beautiful boy, think its more common with ur 1st but if it is fresh blood clotted or pain accompanies it go to a and e to get an early scan to reassure u, but dont panic this is normal good luck xx

Thanks for the quick reply, I was starting to worry because apart from carrying heavy shopping this morning my german shepherd tried to chase after my fiance and his dog last night when he ran ahead, and skye then pulled to get at him so i thought it could have been that as well.

The general advice is that if you have any red spotting/bleeding you should contact doctor straight away or go to a&e. But if it was brown then that is a normal thing to get in pregnancy, definitely phone doctor if it becomes red or you have any pain though. Sure everything will be ok

Its just turned red but i am still not getting pain away to phone my GP

That was not much help he basically told me that 30-40% woman bleed in pregnancy and if i start getting cramps then get back in touch, he said the best thing i can do is let nature take it course and see what happens, I am in far to early stage to be scanned.

I am still bleeding on and off, but no cramps. I also still feel sick at times. So i guess i just have to ride it out i guess and see what happens.

I am throwing up now and the bleeding has nearly stopped, I am just hoping it stays that way and its a good sign

Thank you that's now been a couple of hours with no bleeding or signs of cramp, maybe its my body telling me to slow down.

thinking of you i had the same red blood only when i wiped then brown for about 3 days no cramping like you but was still being sick!! its such a worry lovely and i pray everything is ok xx

I still have no clots passing yet, which must be a good sign and still no pain, it has turned to a brown colour later last night and a very tiny amount this morning, I am so confused if i have lost it or not.

Still have a swollen pregnant tummy, and feel sick at times. I am just tempted to get another test today and put myself out of misery one way or the other.
