Complete Meltdown this morning....

thanks ladies.....going to try and get another appointment and tell them that its ruining my life!! sounds drastic but it is...i cant get out the house and i cant enjoy my little girl...these are weeks i will never get back and i dont want to miss out on lots more future weeks....

i need surgery to put it right......xx

Did you go through surgery in the first place or did they just stitch you under a local?

Apparently strep b causes things not to heal properly and I got strep b cos they let me labour too long x

Really? Wow.

I had a prolonged labour, they didn't mention strep b to me though. Having said that, they did take blood from me I think to test for something or other quite late into the labour I wonder if it was for that.

You poor poor love. I hope they can do something to help you.

I would ask the doctor to check you out then hun.

I was stitched under general and was in for 4 hours. The consultant explained that had I had been stitched up in the delivery room that It wouldnt have healed propley.

I didnt know that strep b could cause problems with the healing process thats probley why im like you.

Did they get antibiotics into you? I had them going through a drip as soon as I went in.

im pretty sure once i tested positive for it they had me on a drip. to be honest i cant remember......i had that many injections and drips in me by the end....its all just a blur.

the little lady was put on antibiotics as soon as she was born xx

Ive talked to you bout this as you know hunni again i really think you need more anti~b's aswell to help with it healing,

My wound still isnt fully closed up (i appreciated our wounds are in different places) and it'll be 8 weeks for me on monday thats after 3 high strength doses of antibiotics and a high dose of antibacterial drugs

Really hope you get sorted asap, remember when my episiotomy wound got infected its horrible and like you say so so painful it really brings you down, id ask gp for some strong pain relief too, you need a break somewhere

I have a doctors appointment at 12:20 today....going to ask for some more antibiotics and ask about stronger pain relief..

also going to make sure i get a referral to see a gynae specialist sooner rather than ater to see if they can sort me out. xx

I have private nedical cover with AXA through work...why i didnt think of this until now :S just rang them and they will cover me to get it sorted

so i can get it done privately.....oh my god...... xx

been to docs.....she examined me (which bloody hurt...she was rough!!) and said that it is actually healing well and just looks bad to me......they heal from the bottom up and so the bottom bit, ie muscle etc appears to have all healed....

she said it had an 'excellent chance of fully healing on its own'

i have to go back in 2 weeks and then if its still bad they will then refer me and i will get the private consultation...but she seemed to think i wont need treatment...so we shall see. im not convinced but i will do as they say and gove it two weeks...

i got more antibiotics cos i have yet another infection!!! and asked for thrush treatment cos i would def get it with the penecilin.....so she gave me a tablet to take each day i am on them to prevent it...phew!!!

so , i actually feel a tiny bit better now that someone has checked it again and she didnt look horrified or say something like 'oh yes you def need surgery' she just looked at it and said she thought it looked like it was doing okay.......and i suppose she is the expert. just looks horrific to me!!!

just wish it would stop hurting but one step at a time i guess....dont feel quite so suicidal today anyway...

thats very good news but just had an idea, why dont you search some natural remedies that speed up the bodys natural processes or something?? i know she's said she thinks you will heal but prob wont hurt helping it along..? just a thought.

going to get some arnica and have also been having salt baths and putting lavender oil in the bath...just have to make sure i do it and not forget or get way laid by other things!! xx
