Co-sleeping - will it be forever?

Nat, I find it really hard bf and the weight thing as boobs feel too sore to do any proper bouncy exercise, and I get soooooo hungry!

With my first, I put on around 3.5stone and with breastfeeding it had pretty much come off really easily by 4 months. Second time round I put in 4.5 stone and expected it to be just as easy to lose but it wasn't. I had to work really hard and thankfully slimming world helped me shed it all by around 8 months. It's weird! Moral for me was not to eat like an obese pig during pregnancy.x

Well we tried cosleeping last night and it failed epically. I slept, I don't think he did! It was only for about a half hour but I'm not sure we'll do it again. If he's not comfortable in his cot though I'll try again.

I'm not losing any weight fast but I'm eating so much junk food which isn't helping.

I co-slept for the first 12 weeks and then changed to crib in our room and then cot in his room as 6 months and I had no problems. I occasionally still co slept when he's not well and don't have too many problems getting him back in his own bed once he's better. The thing I've found is that once you decide to put them in their own bed you have to stick to it and not give in. It can be difficult but perservance really pays.

I co-slept on and off. I found she went straight to sleep in our bed and liked to snuggle with a pillow and quilt so we got her one at about 5 months. She then had a wobble so we used a hot water bottle for a while. We co-slept at 9-11 months then I'd had enough and did some sleep training which worked really well and now she flees right through x
