CM - tmi alert!!

Today I've had some really yucky cm, which I'm not sure is a good thing or a bad thing. Obviously extra cm is usually a good sign but I'm worried - it's yellow! Really disgusting looking.
If you're put off easily turn away - it looked like snot when you've got a really bad cold
Was in Debenhams toilets at the time and felt really yucky walking about the store afterwards, bleugh. Hoping it's not an infection of any kind, no particularly strong smells or anything though. I just always think yellow stuff means infection of some ilk.
I feel like I'm bothering the doctor about everything, so don't want to go back. Anyone got any ideas?

It could be a sign of OV. Although I OV'd 15 days ago and just got some cm when I went the loo 10mins ago, so I'm really no help! Lol x

Yeah I saw that was a possibility when I looked it up, so just did an opk. It was a faint negative, but there was definitely still a line, and I didn't think there would be one at nearly 5dpo. I definitely got a positive on Friday/Saturday and got ov cramps so I really don't think I'm ov-ing just now. I'm so confused!!
I've never had this type of cm before, so no clues there.

Since yesterday i have had increase in cm too, not as "snot" coloured as you describe but more yellowy??

You never know, could be a sign

HI girls,
I have read about studying CM in line with your cycle and whats happening, it turns more yellowy and more dense in last part of your cycle, after you have ov'd.
it is the progesterone that turns the colour.
Slightly greeny Im not sure about - I would keep an eye on it . xxxx

maybe everyones cm is different lol...mine near ov is always a really pale greeny colour :/ but like i say this is every time so i'm not worried and is only like it for a day or 2 xx

according shettles booki read, its is meant to be EWCM up until you OV, when then is goes more cloudier, and keeps getting cloudier or yellower and thicke. So that does make sense Deedee, yours changes as you OV. xx

ahh right yes that does make a lot of sense as its almost transparent up until those 2 days! hmmm wonder if i have actually ov'd this month then as thats what it was like last week :/ x

Hi kred, yeah it's yellow as I said. I say it was like snot because it was more like snot consistency if you know what I mean?
And believe me I've seen some very grossly yellow snot - I'm a teacher and come winter I see all kinds of unpleasant runny noses!! Bright yellow is the worst!
