Child tax credit

Hi ladies ,

I have been trying to work out how much child tax credits will be entitled to using the child tax caculator via the HMRC website. Does anyone know if the amount showen at the end is what you will qualify for per money or is that what you are entitled to for the year.

its the year up until april so you devide it by the number of months left till april hun x

Tax wise the year runs from april to april, so the amount is from now until April which is 3 months. So take the total amount & devide it by 3 to find out the montly amount your entitled to.
