been docs this morning for some full length stockings lol and asked about my wee smaples that they sent off last week! They came back clear of infection  Can anyone explain that? The pain, the TWO samples showing protein and traces of blood, the antibiotics working in getting rid of the pain but no infection?! I dont get that and a little concerned it Im completely honest?!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yesterday I decided that better late than never I would start some pelvic floor exercises while doing a wee. I think my muscels must have gone to pot as i just couldn't stop weeing :rotfl:, how bad is that!!?!?

I hope you start feeling better soon Rach, Have you got people around who can help with looking after Christopher so you can have a bit of a break?

Hennaly - I keep on meaning to ask you which part of Bristol you live in, I lived there for years but moved away about 6 years ago now. I can't beleive how much it's changed everytime I come back. I haven't been back properly for a while now. Have they finished Broadmead yet? We stopped off at Cribbs before our holiday for lunch and I just had to squeeze a bit of retail therapy in. It's weird when I come back I just think I recognaise everyone I see!! Can't see me ever returning, too close to my ex  !!!!

Lea - Speak to your doctor or someone, they should be able to give you a clearer indication of why there is blood in your urine, they need to be looking out for you and little Lola. Can't wait to see pics of your pram. It sounds great.

Babydust - sorry to hear about your bathroom, hope they can get it sorted without you having to move out. Obviously you want the house safe though.

Hope everyone else is well.

Becks x

Bexie im in Yate just outside Bristol, where were you?
Cabot circus (the new Bristol) is now finished and open but i havnt ventured there yet although threatening to pay a visit tomorrow as hubby is on half day.

Hi everyone!!

Sorry you are feeling rotten rach

I'm a bit happier now - I made a decision re maternity leave. I was going to hang on until 19th December (end of term) but have brought it forward to 5th December, when I will be 37 weeks.
Next week is the october break, and after that there will only be 7 weeks of work left. I CAN DO IT!!!!
I teach in a secondary school rach, so it's pretty full on all of the time, not much can be done to lessen the load unfortunately.

I have made a mistake sitting down. I was going to do some housework first as once I sit down that's it for the evening... I really must go and clean the bathroom.................

Bexie - I really keep meaning to start pelvic floor exercises.... I haven't been leaking yet but it's probably just a matter of time!

Lea - I would def speak to doc - I had a recurring infection that lasted months (while ttc!! ) - it was ridiculous - and they kept saying my samples were clear until eventually one wasn't!!

Babydust - sorry about your bathroom troubles. Hope you get it dorted with minimum inconvenience!!
It is Dermol I have been given for my itchy bits but I am hoping for something else tomorrow when I see the doc!! (a different one!)

Hi to everyone else!!
xxx

Hi everyone!
I have a MW appointment next Thursday! Do you think I should wait till then or make an app with my regular doc before?! (the doc I saw today was a locum) Its weird isnt it? How can it be positive for protein and blood traces but come back clear!? If it wasnt an infection then how comes the antibiotics stopped the pain in my kidney? Oh I dont know!?

Babydust sorry your bathroom has a leak! Funny actually, on sat or sun (about 6.30 ish) I got up to pee and my bathroom was flooded?! Leaking from the light fitting?! We put a bucket under and Joe cleaned up, got back in bed, got up and 8.30 ish to find it had stopped and it hasnt happened since?! Very odd?! Would be good if you got to stay in the Hilton again but not for so long this time!!

Rach I hope the cough goes quickly! And I agree with Hennaly!

Bexie hope your well!?

Kmac yay on deciding on your mat leave! :cheer:

What a shame you cant make lunch but im sure your friend will understand.

Typically i started waking up for a wee again for the last 2 nights, i get to sleep real quick again but i hate having to get up, have you ever seen how they lift a whale from the sea, well you have just visualised me getting out of bed
I have got a rash come up on the tops of my legs which i assumed was from the fat rubbing (lovely) but it is on the front not the inside so dont know what it is, i got out the sudocrem and open it to use and all these baby memories came back from when the kids were babies :D

Ok im gabbling now so have a good day ladies oh and has anyone seen CHOCOHLIC i seemed to have missed her the last day or so or am i just being ignorant :? So long as she is ok!!

Ah, I lived in St George and Redcliffe, right next door to St Mary's Redcliffe Church, nice and central. I kind of know Yate, but not that well, went to college with girls from Yate and also worked with a girl who lived there as well.

Hope everyones well this morning, just got back from my midwife appointment which went well. She said everything looked completely normal after my fall last week. I talked to her about the heartbeat theory and she said mine was difficult to predict as the babies heartbeat is right in the middle!!!! I love the guessing game, it's all part of the fun for me. She scared me at one point as we were talking about due dates and she said you can go within a five week period, two weeks before and three weeks after. What she meant to say was 3 weeks before and two weeks after. She said they would be careful about trying to induce me as I had a c-section with Phoebe and synthetic drugs can cause the scar to rupture!! Scary!

Lea - Love the pram, you'll have to borrow one of Lucy's dolls and take it out for a walk and pretend it's Lola

Rach - Sorry to hear your not sleeping, I wouldn't be able to function without my sleep, I'm lucky in that I'm quite a deep sleeper, I'm still waking in the night, but getting back off ok. Thank god.

BD - Hppe the bathrooms sorted sooner rather than later.

Kmac - great news about sorting your maternity leave, you must be so shattered at the end of each day. I imagine the day doesn't end once all the kids have gone home, you've then got all the lesson plnning to do, plus marking!! I'm a wreck at the end of each day. Last night after giving Phoebe her tea, we sat on the sofa having a cuddle watching "In the Night Garden" and I fell asleep! She was more than happy sucking her thumb, cuddled up to me which was nice.

My last day of work is the 1 December and I am conting down the days, I can't wait just to rest and put my feet up, and also meet up with all my SATM friends.

Hope you all have good days.

isnt it just typical my little menace christopher didnt get up today till just before 9am and whats the bets 2moro when i might be able to sleep he will want up at 6am cant bloody win :rotfl: xxxxxx

girls just had ever such a weird feeling  i was getting dressed and as i put my 1 leg into my trousers i had a really strange pain in my foo  sorry if tmi but i had awful feeling my waters were going to gush out as soon as i moved dont ask me why as 1st 2 children my waters had to be broken and 3rd child was section so i wouldnt know what it feels like anyway for them to just go on their own :rotfl: havent felt anything since and all seems to be ok anybody any ideas???? xxxxxxxx

Very odd, I've also had funny feelings in my foo foo (?!??), it was like a really sharp pain, like someone had shoved some spikes up there, to be honest I'd forgotten about it until you mentioned your odd feeling.

Hope it isn't a sign of your waters (I can't be much help as I had an elective section with Phoebe), we want those boys of yours to cook for a bit longer yet. I can't remember the names you chose for them, was it Ryan and Owain?

hmmm very strange glad im not the only one who has had it makes me feel a little bit better  yeah Ryan and Owain will be the boys names :D xxxxxxxx

Hi rach i been gettin them pains over the last few weeks too but my waters are still intact - i think maybe tis just everything stretching out down there and you must have quite a bit more pressure on your cervix with the twins...lovely names by the way :D x x x x
