CD20/6 or 7 DPO - Spotting

Hi,

So this month I have been super positive and telling myself (and anyone who will listen!) that this month WILL be our month. Due to see the GP regarding our first round of test results (bloods, sperm etc) at the end of this cycle and thought how lovely it would be if i could instead use that appointment to tell our GP we were expecting...

Anyway, just popped to the ladies and as I wiped I noticed some blood on the tissue. Now i also have some miled cramping in my lower back and my hips.

I thought maybe it could be implantation but not too sure how much blood there would be if it was that. I am feeling super deflated and just praying that this isnt AF....

It certainly sounds like implanation bleeding. It can occur anytime between 6 - 12 dpo. What colour was the blood and how heavy? Ib is usually pinky or brown in colour and just when you wipe, not enough to need a sanitary pad and can last u to 3 days. The cramping sounds promising too as that could be your egg nestling itself in. Fx for you xx

It is only when I wipe, I wouldnt have noticed otherwise but for some reaosn I looked as I did! Very light pink, I will see how it goes and TRY to not think too much into it.

Light pink is good and would be too early for AF anyway. Do you normally have regular cycles? I'm convinced it's IB xx

They are fairly regular, 9 times out of ten they will be around 32 days. I have had the occasional 38 day cycle but that has been once or twice since coming off of birth control.

Aah that's good. Glad I could be of some help. Keep those positive thoughts. Like I said it's way early for AF so is much more likely to be IB xx

I am REALLY hoping so but also trying (but obviously failing miserably!) not to get my hopes up!


It has been a long 12 months, i just can't wait to see those 2 lines! x

Thank you, I have everything crossed too! I never usually have any spotting at all, I am either on my period or not.

The cramping is more of a soreness in my lower back and occasionally in my hips. However, i realise it could be completely unconnected and just down to a way I have been sitting or something.

However, I said this month was going to be our month so maybe I was right!?

Sounds like it could be IB.

Do you track ov? If you usually have 32 day cycles you would be oving around CD17/18 and you said you are on CD20. To be 6/7dpo and not due AF until CD32 would give you a very long LP of 18-19 days, most ladies LP is 12-16 days.

Hi Snowbee!

Yes i have tested for ovulation this cycle (I dont always) and i had a peak on the CB on CD 17, then a negative ona boots brand on CD18 so Fetility Friend estimated i would O on CD 18 or 19....which would work out right?

The spotting stopped...I had a little brownish/pink discharge yesterday but thats all. Still some weird lower belly cramps but thats probably just wind/my mind convincing me and setting me up for dissapointment!

I have got my dates wrong! My Calender said 20 (for April 20th!!) but that was CD24 for me....D'OH!

CD24 makes more sense lol easy to mix dates up isn't it I do it all the time! Hopefully it is IB then
