Hi Claire and welcome! ive just turned 29 and trying for my first! got married and in the summer and came off the pill just before the wedding. I naively expected to get pregnant quickly but it seems that the pill has really messed up my cycles, they are very long and I haven't really been ovulating. I think I may have ovulated last month - thanks to the ladies on here spotting my positive opks!!! and I then had a period exactly 2 weeks later, so hoping that means I ovulated. last cycle was 40 days so its a long old hog waiting for ovulation again!

Hi nelly, it sucks having long cycles, I've just had a 35 day one, but 40 days is a long wait. Your period arriving 2 weeks after a positive opk sounds promising that you did indeed ovulate the pill really does suck I hope your cycles start to regulate, or you get your bfp first lol What cd are you on? xx

I know I wish i'd never gone on it! hindsight is a good thing hey! im on cd15 today so still a while to go. not much showing on opks but i'm looking fwd to poas tonight to see if anything is occurring yet! xxx

It sounds like ov is on it's way and hopefully that opk will be darker still later. My opks just go really positive out if nowhere, so keep testing and bd'ing (although it looks as though u have that covered after reading back a few pages ) I can't wait to start peeing on sticks again. I usually ov around cd15/16/17, but last month is was cd23! So I still have awhile yet xx

Bloody hell so sorry 2 hear that Hun , but at least u have had them done and u know what's going on although I'm sure that doesn't make u feel any better , good luck 4 ur test Monday keep us updated , I know it's hard but try and stay positive xx

So I'm panicking now cd 9 and still getting a squinter doesn't look like ov is happening any time soon I'm gutted bcus hubby is going away 4 2 weeks leaves next thurs night aslong as I ov b4 cd 13/14 I should b ok can't believe the last 8 months I Iv cd10 or 11 now he's going away my egg wants 2 play up !

I am armed with epo and sevens seas trying for a baby vitamins, I will be getting pregnant lol Gonna use epo because my ewcm has been AWOL for the last few cycles and I know it can help increase it, plus I have some in my cupboard already lol

Andrea, I'm sure ov will happen before your hubby goes away. Sometimes those opks just go from squinters to a full positive in no time. Fx for you it happens soon xx
