Car seat - base or belt?

Yeh, def would be easier with a base and better for your back too......wish I could have one! I have discovered sitting on the backseat to put it in is easier than bending over from the doorway!.......I would get isofix if u can and if not try the easybase......good luck! xx

Of all the things I felt were inconvenient with my son, buckling him into the car wasn't really one of them. So I'll save my cash

We have a graco car seat and use a base with that, Chloe is now 14 months and still using her first car seat so it was definitely money well spent for us x

We're like Dee with an old Corsa, so we can't have the Isofix. In the end, we just went with the Maxicosi Pebble without a base. It's only unsafe if you belt it in unsafely, the lady said. Just make sure you're shown how to do it safely and you're away! If you can have the Isofix, get that - much easier! xxx

Thanks again ladies. Think we're going to go with the base purely for the ease factor. Found out my car does have isofix It pees down with rain a lot here for example lol so can imagine getting wet trying to strap seat in. Thanks for everyones opinions.xxx

That's great hun, nice that u have isofix!...........Although bubs isn't here I have had quite a few practices with the car seat now and find it's actually easier for me by sitting on the back seat behind the drivers seat.......so that way I can avoid a soaking in the rain too!! (Note to self.........next car I buy I will look for isofix! lol)
