Can you get pregnant around the time your period is due?

Three days ago my hubby forgot i wasnt on the pill last night and ...... came! my period was due at the time, well i am now on day 33 of my cycle. i normally ovulate around day 11-14. so is it unlikely but still poss that i could have got preg the other night? oh no.....! any fertlity experts out there? i thought i would have come on by now. could his sperm have delayed it??!

so was on day 30? well if your cycle was following normal route then no you should be ok. However if your ovulation was delayed...anyones guess, but unlikely if you have a regualr cycle. You can't delay AF arriving, it always comes the same number of days after ov as long as you don't have a fertilised egg. What can be delayed is ov - were you stressed, ill etc around the time you should have ov'd, it may have delayed it a day or 2 so Af will be late by a day or two.
