Can I give egg to a 5 mth old?

I mentioned to my OH that I was planning on scrambling an egg with a bit of water to giveto Eva for her lunch today and he said that he thought that babies cannot have eggs till they are a year old?

I waited until 6 months with ella-rose and make sure its cooked right through. She loves scrambled egg with baby rice which tastes gross

yes we waited til a bit past 6 months and watched carefully when we introduced egg as LO has eczema and worrieed egg and dairy would set it off. It didn't luckily but I think some babies can be allergic to egg in particular. LO loves omlette!

I think it's 6 months for well cooked eggs and 1 year for runny eggs x
