bump tightening?

hi,

every now & then my bump goes really hard... its not painful though, more a tight feeling which eases off after a min or so. Anyone know what it is or if its normal? Is this what braxton hicks feel like? if not what are they?

Def BH, i get them a lot, especially if im doing a lot at the time. they dont hurt or anything, just sometimes uncomfortable!

Some women have said they felt them around 20 weeks!

I would put money on BH.....And yes, pregnancy does go very fast at times

As the other say, defo braxton hicks. I got them from quite early on, sometime in 2nd tri. Supposedly we have them from much earlier in pregnancy but are not aware of them.

Like everyone else has said sounds like the hicks attacks again! If they get painful, give your MW or hospital a phone.

yep definitly sounds like braxton hicks. i've been getting them from 16 weeks. that's very early. but this is my third baby, so everythin happens earlier and is more noticable!
