I can't believe how many boys there are on here!!!

Although I guess it makes sense in that most people were trying and so probably bd on day of ov so apparently more likely to result in boys. We bd a couple of days before my ov so makes sense that we conceived a little lady.

Yes I agree with this, make sense that 70/80 percent of couples really trying to Concieve have boys

I think I'm having a girl because I ovulated late and it was a good few days from last bedding that apparently we concieved from the scan dating!, (about 4/5 days!!!)

With my last child, we tried for a girl, but only bedding a few days before OV and then not agani, and taking the chance that we missed the boat each month - we got a girl.

We weren't trying weren't preventing-I have no idea when I ovulated! We had sex when we wanted so we were just extremely lucky 1) to fall pg and 2) to get a boy x a lot of Americans that I speak to on an app I have are expecting girls this year, in fact on there the boys are in the minority x

I thought we were going to have a girl cos they say if you bd 3-4 days before ov it's a girl, well we did it 4 days before I got a positive opk and we're having a boy!! Really strange!!
It is amazing how many boys are due, their be fighting over the girls when their older lol

we didnt try atall, i was on the pill, never missed one! Makes me think Noa is REALLY ment to be with us if he was strong enought to get trough protection. just the thought that if we wouldnt have had sex exaclly that hour we did, i would sit here on facebook still and not even think about pregnancys.

i read boy sperms swim quicker and girl slower but last longer hence why if you ovulate a few days after bd'ing the sperm has swum right up to egg resulting in girl and if you bd as you ovulate the boys rush there i was doing it from a few days befor till a few after so im not sure lols but def boy season on here

I read that in times of recession more boys are likely to be born. I don't know quite how that one works though?

I knew mine would be a boy. We only had sex once the month we concieved and did it on day 17. Boy sperm are faster but less durable. Girl sperm are slower but last longer so in theory, if you have sex 3-4 days before ovulation, the boy sperm swims up first but there's no egg so slowly dies off..meanwhile the girl sperm takes their time and when they finally get up there the eggs there waiting! BUT not a realiable method at all. We all ovualte at different times, not nesessarily on day 14.
