Bought so much stuff yesterday I am now far too organised!!

bought the pram (Bugaboo) and all the bits and bobs to go with it, bought all the nursery bedding and soft furnishing and matching accessories, picked up the nappy bin machine, video cam system, baby monitor, newborn baby bottles, more nappies, muslin clothes by the barrell load, moses basket bedding.

also got my birthing dress, got a wanamama or whatever you call it. Really nice.

now feeling like we are FAR too organised. Gonna start clearing out the spare room next weekend as its more a storage room come dressing room come dumping ground so you cant see the floor for crap. Then can start putting the nursery together!

just cant wait until its all finished and its so exciting buying bits and pieces!!

Well done Lynds!!!! Iv bought my pram (icandy peach stroller) I think thats the biggest purchase done with. See my problem is I always end up looking at the bloody cute clothes and not the practical things...im just browsing online as we speak...ill use your list above as a guide lol...

I said to hubby this morn 'right im going to start on that bedroom' (full of crap) I knew he would respond with 'no ill do it on my rest days this week, dont you be lifting'...so watch this space!

Im debating a crib or moses basket at the mo for our room, crib is taking my fancy...

if my OH said that I would already know for a fact that bugger all would get done on his days off! I asked him for help next weekend to emtpy the spare room and got told that he has his dissertation to do. That was the excuse for not helping with wedding stuff last year too. He always seems to have an essay to do when there is work needing done!

really like the peach too, but I only have a wee fiesta so would struggle for space. i would rather a crib too, but my Mum bought a moses basket back when I was about 5 weeks pregnant! so that decision was made for me. haha.

we went for Mothercare Precious Bear theme for the nursery, it will go with the mural my Mum is gonna paint on one wall. And its 30% off at the moment. And LOADS of extra accessories on ebay that I just went mad with too!

am quite glad we are not finding out the sex, or I will be going mental buying clothes too! yikes my poor bank account.

you dont really, but you can get wrap dresses that cover your modesty and are great for skin to skin straight after birth. Some of them also have a slit at the back for epidural and trace belt access.

I am just a bit shy and dont really want all my bits on constant show so thought this would be a good idea for me to try to hold onto some of my dignity!

Oh we are having hand painting in nursery too (my cousin has done her own and its just fantastic) think we are going for hey diddle diddle...neutral too as we are also staying team yellow, its so hard to buy as everything is either blue or pink! I think I have bought the entire jasper conran baby range as its the only thing I can find in white lol.

Whens your scan? Mine 14th May, im ready to see bubs again now...

My god, it doesnt seem 2 minutes since we were like 7 weeks and panicking about every little thing...its flying by now so very very exciting!!!

Ive not bought anything yet im still scared to! Ive been given a few bits but keeping them at mums house as i dont feel ready for them to come in the house yet!

Ive done lots of window shopping though got my scan in just under 3 weeks so going to start buying after that as we are going to find out the sex xxx

mine is 15th. Time was flying in until we got our scan date, now it seems to be dragging again!

dont think so. At the 12week one i told the sonographer that I already had 3 due dates, the one I thought, the one midwife thought and the one the sonographer at the early scan thought! and she said, well I am gonna give you another one, but this is going to be your official one.

so I assume they wont do anymore dating measurements, just growth measurements i think?

Only wondered because Iv got a pretty big bump, prob normal but my mother keeps making me paranoid by saying you sure theres only one, cheers mum! Any movement yet? Iv just started feeling flutters past few days after getting paranoid because id not felt anything x

only really feel movement when i am mega stressed, which thanks to my work has been a lot recently. One day they got me so wound up during the day my heart rate was still 108 at night time!! (according to the doppler which I pressed against my collar bone)
I sometimes feel a little odd feeling when i go to bed if I lie on my back. Other than that pretty much nothing! keep poking my bump telling it its a lazy baby!!

this is my bump. Although sometimes it is defo bigger than others! its weird.

Lovely bump! I need to upload a pic (just cannot be arsed faffing with leads for phone) ill have a go inabit and post in bumpy pics. It sounds like work are being very unkind, tbh I wouldnt expect that from your service, get signed off if they carry on, stress is not something you need!!!

We've got the precious bear bedding it's gorgeous!!! I can't wait to get decorating!ive gt baby swing, pram ordered and nappies so far! We've got some vests that I never used from my ds and loads f new blankets too!!

WELL DONE! i'm glad isnt it just me! But if i am completely honest my nursery is done with furniture up and clothes all put away etc etc! I have still little things to get though, biggest things still to buy are the mattresses....
