Blinds

When we moved into our house just about every window has blinds up. I know that there are risks associated with kids and blinds like strangling on cords etc. but any ideas how i know if they are child safe.

I dunno if its an over reaction to want to replace ALL of them - also there's a full lenght window beside the front door that im not sure a curtain would look right at. but obviously i dont want something seriously dangerous in the house.

Honestly, youve got a while before it even becomes at issue. Ive got a blind in my house and my parents have got quite a few so we just tie the cord up a bit so that it can't be reached, like make a bow half way up it. Then it can still be used like normal but child safe too

If its just string you can buy hooks to tie them round, if it's the plastic things (with little ball things on) you can buy a special holder that attaches them to the wall but allows you to still pull them up and down without any slack so baby can't get hold of them x
