Bleeding - Please help!

Well, it all seems to have cleared up now, no more blood and stil no pain. I really really hope that baby bean is ok. Won't know for certain until 20 week scan I guess.

Has the MW not booked you in for an additional scan then? or even a listen on the doppler to ease your worry?

No, my midwife says she wont be able to hear the heartbeat before 16 weeks, although she said she'd have go at my next appointment on the 15th. I dont think it was considered bad enough to warrent an additional scan as it litleraly only lasted for a few hours and there was no pain or clots. I think she just considers it a normal(ish) occourance.

My MW has sent me for an additional 3 scans and i wasn't in any pain! She is quite sympathetic though and i live in a quiet area so maybe thats why.

Im glad its all stopped now

I may ask for another one and see if i can get her to agree. I just want to get to 18 weeks and feel it kick or something, then i'll be happy.

Well, phoned the surgery to check the date of my next appointment and I've been told that they've lost it.... So very annoyed as I thought that it was this Tuesday. Have had to be re booked for the 28th, by then i'll be 17 weeks I think so the midwife has said she'll do a Doppler reading for me. Means I won't know that bean is ok for 2 weeks at least.

Try not to worry, I'm sure it will all be fine, your midwife does not seem to worried as you have had no pain so that's a great sign X

Shadow Wolf - get a fetal doppler. My sister is pregnant too and had one. She found my baby's heartbeat at 10 weeks!

wish i could justify buying one but all extra cash i have is being saved, my OH would never let me. I wish i had someone nearby whos i could borrow but i dont. I'll just have to stick it out i guess.

Glad to hear ur ok but if ur still worried or anxious u can go to a & e, thats what i did every time i had a bleed, they just send u down to the gyn ward n a dr r nurse will scan u to see if everything is ok, which it is of course but if ur mind just wont settle then go now n be reassured. I even went in at 3am with one of the bleeds & they were still more than nice, despite this being the 3rd time id landed in freakin out lol
