Hi ladies.

Well the past month or two I've had vaginal bleeding throughout the month when I've been having bowel movements.

It was only very light and I have gotten it for a while the day or two before a period and mentioned it to my GP who said not to worry. but the last couple of months it's been spread over my cycle a bit more.

Then last night (CD7) after BD I wiped and all of the 'stuff' (DHs & mine) was tinged red with fresh blood. Obviously it seemed like loads as it was all mixed in with semen etc. but was still enough to worry me.

Luckily I was already planning to go to GP about it today anyway. So I went this morning.

The dr I saw I think thought I was being a bit weird and didn't believe it was vaginal as I said it was mainly when I pooped and had never been with BD before last night.

She did an examination, swab and smear anyway as I'm due one.

An I'm glad she did as I bled quite a lot with the smear.

She has also referred me for a scan even though the bleeding seems most definitely from my cervix. I did mention that I get quite a lot of Ov pain and always on my right side. So that's on my referral form.

Scan is on Tuesday so I'm looking forward to that and ready for some answers. :)

Hope it all goes well hun and you get all the answers you need to get it sorted quickly and easily! x

I'm glad this is all being investigated hun - best to get to the bottom of things!!

I have quite sever Ov pain myself, usually on the right side and it lasts a good few days?

No bleeding or anything and I had a clear smear in December and a transvaginal scan on 11th Jan that didn't flag anything obvious up? (the scan was part of my recurrent miscarriage diagnostics!)

I hope you get some answers soon

xxxxxxxxx

Thanks ladies.

Now I know it's definitely my cervix bleeding I'm not too worried. As I know it's quite common for it to be sensitive in a lot of women. And it is only if I strain or it gets knocked etc. also no pain or anything.

I like the immediacy of a scan. Like we'll see if anything is wrong as soon as they look. :)

I know Ov pain is common and not a bad thing etc. so as long as I can discount PCOS etc then I'm happy. :)

I had the same symptoms hun, but pain with BDing too, and they did a scan, tests, then eventually a surgical laparscopy, found nothing everything healthy, and the bleeding seems ot have subsided, still get very painful OVing and lots of pms symptoms, so don't worry yourself, i was convinced there would be a problem and nothing :) xx

Glad you're getting it looked at, hope everything is ok xx

Thanks so much everyone. :)

Especially you Corky, :) nice to have someone in the same boat.

Hi cupcake - sorry to hear about the issues you've been having, but it's great that it's getting checked out so quickly - it's better to know what's going on than be left to wonder I think... I too seem to have quite a bit of spotting on and off through my cycle - had a scan a while back and they found a fibroid, which could be causing it, but hopefully won't interfere with ttc... Good luck with the test results and I'll be interested to hear how you get on.... xxx

Hi good luck with the scan glad they good it booked so quick

xx

Good luck with your scan, at least you know your isues are being looked into.

xx

Thanks ladies. X

Just want it to be scan time now!!

I'm scared if they find something in case it's bad news and kind of scared if they don't as I want answers! Lol!

At least either way I guess I can be referred to a specialist though. In a way the bleeding might help me out a little as scary as it is. I'm a very impatient person you see! Lol.

I felt exactly the same with my scan last year, I was so scared they'd find something wrong with me. But then when they didn't find anything I was abit confused how to feel because I still didn't have any answers.

xx
