Back from GP some questions?!

Hi everyone,
I just been to my gp about the bleeding etc, she has suggested doing a blood test at day 5 and day 21 of my cycle...just wondered what this would show and what the plan of action would be?
also she has bought my smear forward and is going to do an internal at the same time.

I was wondering the same about the day 5 cos I forgot to ask when I had the same tests done...
Day 21 is for progesterone, to confirm whether or not you're ovulating, but all depends on you having 'normal' cycle lengths of course... I knew that I'd ov'd on day 6-7 the first month I had my tests done, so by day 21 my progesterone levels had crashed as I was due AF the next day! Of course the nurse then told my I hadn't O'd (which I knew I had!).
Had repeat tests done the next month and all was ok.
