I managed to convince him we needed a private sexing scan at 16 weeks but he will not let me have a Doppler. He says it will drive me mad...... HE IS DRIVING ME MAD I WANT ONE lol help me x

It can drive you mad but it's amazing. asking as you won't panic about not finding a heartbeat it's all ok! but it is wry hard to find them early on. Took me ages still takes a while now but getting easier.

He can't stop you buying one haha my oh said not too but I did anyway and when he heard the heartbeat he forgave me lol

The really annoying thing is I know he is right. If I couldn't find it I would full on panic and the hospital would end up banning me from the building lol. I am such a worrier I know it would be a mistake. But it's so cute I want one x

Haha well try and keep telling yourself that. It is lovely to hear it but again like I said its sooo difficult to find. I was lucky and can actually find the baby. But most midwives won't listen for heart til 16 weeks incase they can't find it as its very common. Guess it all depends where baby is sitting and which way it's facing. If your wombs tilted and so on!

Maybe try leave buying one til week 16 ?
