Finally getting 5mins to write up my birth story 2 weeks later!lol.
Right il start with the monday 10th,went to the midwife at 3pm was hoping for a sweep and she done one for me,when i had left there my cervix was short n soft and i was 2cm dilated. Didnt think anything was happening so went to bed abt 11ish,woke up at 3am needing a pee so went to the toilet,came bk to bed n i jus felt different...could sleep after that and by 5am i was feeling tightenings all the time and bubs was going mad. Anyway i got up n went for a bath,by the time i got out i was having contractions every 4 to 5mins lasting about 40 to 50 secs. By 7am i foned the hospital as i was in pain,told me to try n stay at home a little longer i managed til 8am then had to go in..got to the hospital,got examined at 9am n i was 5cm dilated,got taken to the labout ward n given gas and air,which took my mind of the pain for a while and made me spaced out lol. Had to wait til 1pm to get examined again,she said if my waters hadnt went then she would do it at 1pm so it came to the examination,she broke my waters n i was 8cm by this point and i was in agony so i asked for diamorphine which was good,it made me fall asleep inbetween contractions,at this point i was trying my hardest not to push but by 4pm i needed to push n couldnt hold it any longer so she examined me and i was 10cm!! I started to push,i kept saying i couldnt do it and i had enough but an hour later my baby boy was born. Tyler John was born at 5.04pm weighing 8lb8oz and 53.5cm long
he is perfect ans im so happy xxx
