I think the images from that link were lovely and tastefully done. Still think it's a great idea in theory. I think you just need to find someone who would be comfortable with a stranger taking such personal fotos.

I would love it. I'd love photos that tell a story... But only if I looked good in them in which I know i wouldn't cause I look back at the ones my OH took while in labour and straight after and I looked absolutly terrible lol xxx

definately not! that wouldn't be something I would want to see - when the midwife said they would show me the head crowning in a mirror I was horrified and said no!

I have a few photos of me just after birth and hate them!

Hello everyone,

First of all let me just say that this is NOT an advert and Im not advertising or promoting myself or my services in any way. I am, however, a photographer and am wondering whether birth photography is something you would consider? Again, I do not own a business, so I am not trying to sell anything, only asking whether women are interested in this? I am very keen to hear what you have to say.

I do photography as a hobby and I'm looking for women who would be willing to have the birth of her child documented, for free
