BFP after miscarriage - No period in between

Hi
Im new to the forum and just found out that im pregnant again. I recently had a miscarriage, not had a period in between and got a positive test.

Im really worried that the same thing is going to happen, part of me is hoping and i want to get excited but woried in case the same thing may happen.

Im keeping my pregnancy quiet at the mo but itching to tell someone, hence the reason for joining a forum.

All I can think is make sure your midwife knows and keep pushing for early scans or whatever she can do to keep her best eye on you.

congratulations and i would contact the dr/midwife now so they arre aware that you are pregnant and can keep an eye on you xx

Thanks peeps, Im going to see how i get on over weekend and then il book in.
I know it sounds depressing but it feeling like im waiting for it to happen again, but i must have faith and keep my fingers croosed eh? xx

i know its easier said than done but try to relax as stress wont help you. take it easy over the weekend too dont get too excited with the football (if you like me you will wonder what its all about!)!!xx

Yeah i plan to take it easy over next few weeks, and as for the football im a typical women where that's concernd. Even had my boss trying to explain off side rule!!!
Il just keep my eye on the legs...ooops i mean the ball he he xx

Congrats and welcome! I had a m/c last year so when I fell pregnant this time I was so worried!! Like the girls said, relax as much as poss, start taking folic acid, cut down on caffine etc! One thing I did I advoid sex for the 1st 12 weeks too as that is sometimes recommended after a miscarrigde!

Welcome to PF , you will love it on here, I stopped trying to talk to my OH about TTC and babies etc as he really doesn't get the same out of the chat as me, and moved on to this forum - best thing I did, so now he loves it!

Congrats , well done for falling so quick again, and try not to worry too much, you can only do what you can do like Laceys mum said and watch the caffine and take the vits and relax. Will be following you pregnancy journey on here too, everything croseed that yours is a sticky one X

Thankyou so much. I wish i could get excited about it, i know its very early days just yet so just going to keep everything crossed.
Im already taking folic acid, dont drink much caffine anyway so cutting that out wont be a problem. My OH is in the Navy and has just has his deployment and wont be back til xmas which also makes it harder for me, so as for the no sex bit, i wont be getting any til xmas lol. xx
