how often do you bath ur lo's??

i bath Madison maybe every 2/3 days

but this week been bathing her every morning due to bad hair days now its growing!!

xx

I only bath Lacey and charley twice a week. Charley hates bath time ATM!

i found when madison was v young and not fussed its cos she was actually cold so now i wet her head and shoulders and always have the bath quite deep for her and have her in plenty of water ... i told this to my sil and her lo went from screaming at bathtime to screaming when u lift her out lmao xx

Sarah loves bath time so i bath her before bed every night. I have three older ones and they like to take turns to have a bath with her - which frees me up to get other two organised, i then put her to bed whilst said child tops up bath. I always bathed them every night when they are young just for routine mand especially now she is weaning - i do let them make mess and she has discovered how to use her beaker herself which she loves making a mess with just because she can. My older children have a bath every third day due to time - although if my son had his way he would be in there every night!

Noa get 2 baths every week, not more. I dont think he "need" more as they dont really get dirty. but i can understand if its done for rotuine or calming before bedtime. Noa loves baths but his skin is very sensetive the mw said not to bath him more as he will get dry skin

Drake has a bath every 2 days, he absolutely loves bath times!

I give ethan a bath every night before bed time. I always hold him like a rugby ball and wash his hair first. He loves bath time! It's good for his routine too. Xx

Every two or three days , Aoibheann loves her baths especially splashing me :)

Liv has one every night she loves the bath x

I've brought charley some rubber flashing fish for the bath! Hopefully it'll help him relax. He's full of smiles as I'm getting him ready for his bath then as soon as I pick him up he starts crying!!
Laceys always loved bath time so it's strange having a baby terrified of the water!!

Seb loves bath time so I bath him every night before bed. I get in the bath with him so the water's quite deep and he absolutely loves it!

I only bathe Paige about twice a week. Her skin gets so dry. Obviously if shes been sick a fair amount and is a bit whiffy Ill wash her more lol.

Those of you that bath every day, when did you start bathing every day? From birth or left it a bit? I quite like the idea of bathing daily but not too sure when to do this? X

I did it from birth :) x

yup my mw said u can bath twice a week or seven times a week .... cos ppl told me u shudnt bath every day and when i was she said it was rubbish.... i bathed madison last night before bed lol it didnt work she didnt conk after it but was prob nice before bed anyhow lol! i have to start bathing her every day now cos she lifts the food and it bes in her hair and everything lol xx

Ella had beautiful skin from birth and I only bathed her twice a week - then, on the advice of my MIL I started bathing her every day and within 2 weeks her skin was sore and red, despite me not using hardly any baby bath and making sure I creamed her to keep her skin moist. I went back to twice a week and her skin has been perfect ever since.

I think it's each to their own-every baby is different - I think Ella has sensitive skin and by bathing her I was removing all her natural oils which keep her skin so nice. I top and tail her daily but that appears to be all that her skin needs.

Morgan has a bath every night and has done since we got him home from hospital. We dont put anything in it anymore tho to stop his skin getting dry. Its more for the routine and he loves it spashing around, twice a week we use the baby soap to actually wash him

herbie is only bathed twice a wk with his skin he cant have any more it takes me that long to dry him as I have to make sure every roll is dry before I dress him for bed as if not it will be sore in the morning I wouldnt care he loves the bath

We are only going to bath Aiden twice a week. MW said not to bath every night and because he was 2 weeks late his skin is very dry. When he gets older would like to bath him every night as part of a routine, but at the mo he HATES it and screams the house down, its such an ordeal haha.

Just thought id mention this incase anyone else has a LO who hates bath time, we bathed him in his baby bath and hated it so we have bought a big sponge bear from Tesco and it floats in the big bath and he . . . well he doesnt love it but hes much better in it and doesnt scream the house down haha. So if anyone else has trouble with bath time its maybe worth a try, plus you have both hands free to wash baby xx
