Back from hospital, got no where....

Hey girls, had my medical management and not really got any where with my mc...

Went in at 10am and left at 7:30pm, had my 3 lots of pesseries, cramps like I have never experianced before but on and off so could cope, anyway, passed lots of clots like I have been all week but no sign of anything else, I did pass 2 clots last night that wasnt like I have been passing for the past week sorry tmi but the dropped from me into the toilet so couldnt really tell if there was any diff so that may have been what I needed to pass I dont know, have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan, I really hope if it hasn'tpassed yet that it will before then because I dont want to have a d&c....

Bit gutted because I did hope it would all be over by now...........

No they did an examination but god knows what they were looking for, she said there may be too much blood and clots to see a clear scan, guess in 2 weeks if it hasnt passed it may do by then.....I dont really know what happens next, got pain killers and anti bios so taking them, it just feels like it going to go on for ages xx

when i mc'ed naturally on 30th june, the heaviness and clots only lasted a few days i think. then the bleeding lasted forever, but i did end up with problems. Hopefully the bleeding and clots will ease off by the end of the weekend for u xxx

I hope it's all passed by in the next few days if it hasn't already, I can't believe there can be many clots left! Did u have a d&c? I'm dreading it coming to that xx

Oh twinkes, I really hope u get somewhere soon. You'd think they'd know we are already suffering enough and that there would be some way for them to speed things along! I'm the same as u though, def dint want to get a d&c if I can help it xxxx

yeah i ended up with a dnc after 9 weeks of bleeding / spotting due to a small bit of retained tissue. that was the 26th Aug, bled for 12 days after and i am curently 7dpo! i couldn't wait any longer to ttc again. xx

Did you have a big clot Hun? There's a good chance you will have passed it I reckon. At home perhaps. If the bleeding tapers off then that will be a good sign. Did you have to use the cardboard thing to catch what you pass?

I think I was very lucky because the whole thing practically came away at once, I had very few clots after that. Because I caught it and they inspected it (oh my, what a job eh?) they were able to say it was done.

Yes used the pans today so they inspected everything....yuck! The only chance is that it's what I passed yesterday eve, I saw the rest of the past week when I wiped so yes possibly I passed it yesterday but won't know for 2 weeks x

hey twinkles sorry to hear that

if you pasted everything eventually then the pregnancy symptoms will completely disappear and a pregnancy test will be negative in a couple of days. so you can always make a test by the end of the next week to see how are things going.

hope you are ok?
Sounds awful to me, see im a wimp and just chose the surgery, no pain, put me out, job done.
So I cant really comment.
But I agree with Hope - see how you are in a week and then try to get a scan, really hope it doesnt drag on too much. xxxhugs. xxxx.

Thanks girls, I know the neg preg test will mean I'm no longer preg but will it necessarily mean all the pregnancy has gone? My symptoms have gone xx

Yeah it will mean there is nothing left supplying the body with hcg signals. My hpt stayed positive til after my dnc, all be it very faint. My symptoms disappeared just after I mc'ed naturally xx

I don't know why they don't tell us this I'm the hospital! x

after my medical management for mmc it took about 10 days for me to get a negative pregnancy test, maybe 2 weeks to have no hint of a line at all. so worth doing but don't be surprised if there is some kind of line. It really sounds like you passed it in one of those big clots, that was how mine passed. I had to wait 4 long weeks before my follow scan when i got the all clear. hope you doing ok hun xxxxx

4 weeks!!!! Oh my days!!!!!! Thats bad....

I will just see how the week goes before testing but yea maybe 10 days will be right but then I may as well wait for scan I guess....

I feel 100% normal today, maybe I have had enough of feeling not quite me I dont know but whatever it is Im glad to feel me again, I am bleeding but not too much, seems to be getting lighter so will see what the next few days bring x

I cant believe they are making you wait two weeks for a check up scan I was scanned the next day after I thought Id passed the big clot emotionally it's terrible they make you wait soo long.

i also got loads of cheapy hpts online just to keep track so that if i got pg again, planned or not, i would know that it was real cos i'd have seen my levels drop. They will prob do urine test at the hosp when you go for scan, they did for me anyway. Glad you are starting to feel a bit more normal. x
