Baby's weight

My baby boy was born weighing 7lb 4oz, on day 5 he went down to 7lb 1 1/2 oz and by day 10 was up to 7lb 5oz. Does this sound ok? I'm so paranoid he's not getting enough even though he poops for Britain! Also do you ladies offer both breasts for each feed?x

Yes that's fine. They expect up to 10% weight loss first few days. As long as going back up its great x

Sounds as though you are going a far job and already producing gold topped stuff
Go with the flow with offering both sides. If he comes of naturally on one side but still wants more after a good feed then offer the other.

My girl was 8lbs 8 born and dropped to 7lb 6, she took 3 weeks to get back to birth weight and now she's caught back up! She's almost 16 weeks and was 12lb 2 at last weigh 2 weeks ago!

She drains both ATM but in the early days she would drink from one a use the other as a dummy but always offer there is nothing to loose!
