Baby Shower

Any ladies on here ever had a baby shower? What do they entail?

My first baby so obviously never had one before but I am going to have one around 34 weeks as a BBQ kinda thing which my step mum is planning.
I'm not into the baby games things but I'll have some pretty banners up. Nursery all done for people to see, I'll provide food etc and baby themed cakes etc but I think it's nice to receive
The odd gift plus its more of a memory thing for me, me able to take pics of all the important people that will be involved in my
Little girls life and plenty of pics for her memory box x

Is it something men can attend? We went to a small baby show today and someone recommended them to us, my husband seemed really interested

The ones I've been to have all been only women, I think just because men aren't really interested in general xx

Friends and family and men will be there. Normally its just a lady thing but I'd like everyone to be there its personal choice hun xxx
