We're waiting to get outfits until warmer clothes appear in the shops but I really want some more sleep suits. Trouble is I am soooooo fussy! I was exactly the same with DD's clothes too. I hate clothes with things like trains, boats, cars etc on them and ideally want all-in-ones and vests that are blue but nice and plain without what manufacturers obviously consider 'boy' pictures on them. I don't mind words like 'i love mummy' etc can anyone please direct me towards a shop/website that has relatively 'plain' boy clothes in? x with DD I struggled too as everything was covered in flowers or hearts or other 'girl' things and I can't remember where I got her stuff from x lol x

i likes sainsburys fr some stuff it was a nice boys selection not a clue after that tho x

i dont like light blue or pink i like strong colours! Red, Dark green, orange! the problem is everything is sooooo boring out there. Pink, blue, yellow or white.
If you want something colourful it needs to be ordered from really expensive designer websites.
Vi did buy a nice green hoody for our boy in debenhams tho!

maybe try baby wholesaler a friend of mine does nappy cakes and she gets a load of stuff from there unbranded but different to what is in the shops and u can get all sorts there including moses baskets, toys and cots

Yeah George do nice ones, try eBay too I've got some lovely stuff off of there! :D

Thanks guys x I did try debengams but couldn't see anything I liked-I think I'm probably being too picky. Going to try George and eBay too x it's so frustrating! Mini mode by boots have gorgeous stuff on their website (I really like the shirts and jeans combination that seems popular at the mo but not practical for a winter baby) but it's all for summer!

For vests and stuff try john lewis and tesco! Ella was almost completely in White til she was about6 weeks old when i decided it was time for proper clothes! I've never seen the point in vests with paterns, they just go under stuff!

I agree with alice the majority of my newborn stuff will be white! Lol

i love emile et rose clothes but haven't bought any yet as i don't know what i'm having. I love babys in white though.

Definatly going to take a look over a George x there have been some nice things on eBay too so I'm going to keep watching on there-just got to get up the courage to bid! Lol x I don't see the point in patterned vests either!

Omg emile et rose :cloud9: expensive but worth it cos the quality's amazing! Proper cute tho!

Helen - nope I don't see the point in patterned vests the only ones Jacob has ever had that have been patterned are ones he has has bought as gifts or have come with sets! Other than that I go to Asda for vests 3 for £1.75 bargain!! Alice - Emile et Rose? Hmm *Googles* Lol

I had a look today at what I have gathered got 15 bibs and 3 winter suits, picked up a next newborn one from ebay for just over £3 and it is still in the shops so the little one will be coming home in that. As I had always hoped we would have a christmas baby I got some little outfits from george a bargain at a £1 each!!

I agree George at Asda has some great sleepsuits and think best out of all the supermarkets. I bought a cute spanish style baby grow online at a shop called LaLaa too.

Kelly lou-which jacket did you get? I haven't seen any winter clothes in our local next (it is teeny tiny though!)
