Hi ladies,

I'm just wondering what you are doing re; bras, are you still wearing normal bras or maternity? I am now 20 weeks and still in my normal but think I might need more support now. I'm worried about buying more bras now only for my boobs to get bigger and for me to need to buy more. Is there such a thing as a maternity bra that stretches or something as you grow throughout pregnancy and breast feeding etc?

I am normally a size 30G but think I have already grown, although haven't been measured. Because of my size my bras aren't cheap so don't want to waste money if I'm going to have to buy more later on in the pregnancy. I went up to a 34HH when I was pregnant with my son but it was 6 years ago and I can't remember if I wore maternity bras or just normal ones. I am very worried about them sagging as they are heavy so I need support!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)

I'd be inclined to suggest you hold out as close as possible to your due date, that being said if you're uncomfortable now that may be tricky?! I don't think there is a bra that grows with you (that I've seen). Would buying a cheaper normal one for now work to see you through? Sorry I'm not much help as my boobs don't change but didn't want to read and run!

I'm on my 2nd set of bras in this pregnancy, I bought the first ones before 20 weeks I think. Yes it's a hassle but anything for comfort! I'm a 36G! I'm now looking for nursing. Bras.

Im also on my second set of bras and my requirements are that they are non wired. Thats all.

I am now a 36FF - jeez.

it seems like all of us here have ginormous jugs lol

Where do you bigger busted ladies buy your bras from? I usually go to bravissimo but it's so damn expensive. Think I'm going to have a trip up there tomorrow to get measured etc. I've definitely gone up at least one size already xx

I used to go to Freya, Bravissimo but I really dont recommend it right now as boobs are not a stable size!

Ive started buying bras from M&S which are VERY good to my surprise as I never gave them a chance before. They are more on the plain side but very very comfortable and practical. I highly recommend.

Oow thanks, I'd forgotten about M&S, I'll have a look Xx

I'm still wearing the same size bras as I was before I fell PG. I always buy my bras from Marks & Spencers because they're one of the only shops in my area that are accurate on sizes - although they aren't the cheapest, they are brilliant for quality and accuracy. I've recently bought some nursing bras from Mothercare - 2 bras for £30 which is a little expensive in my opinion but will need them once little one is here. I'm trying to hold out as long as possible in buying any more bras as they can be very expensive, and at the moment I'm doing fairly well with the ones I already have! I'm a bigger busted lady, and even I'm able to manage, so I hope you can too xx

I got those sttetchy sport bra type from 12wk-26wk and now Im wearing maternity/nursing bras or just ones that have no wire in. I think Ill need more between now and my due date as I seem to feel bigger by the day but the bra's I have bought haven't cost much up to now and Im sure as my boobs get smaller after the birth Ill wear them all again x

I buy just sport tops. They are comfortable for my boobs. And sport tops' advantage is they stretch a lot. Think about it.

I went to get measured at bravissimo and I am now a 32H. Will get bigger as the pregnancy progresses, very annoying.

AmberDi - unfortunately sports tops don’t offer enough support for me as my boobs are very heavy. I’m jealous
