I'm sure I'm not alone in being one of those people who knew sweet FA about fertility and conception (apart from the obvious) before I started ttc... I certainly knew very little about cm and how it can be an indicator of where you are in your cycle.. Obviously I've learned a lot over these last few months, and although I've tried to check every other day and noticed that some days were wetter, and some were stickier... I'll be honest I really wasn't sure what people meant by ewcm... and I was wondering if I just didn't get it...

Well I'm CD 11 now and I just went for a longish run....I felt sort of...wet down there (sorry if tmi) and for a moment I was worried I was bleeding (I think it's natural to have these anxieties after a mc) and once I got home I rushed to the loo the check.... I wasn't bleeding, I decided to check my cm and now I think I *definitely* know what ewcm...

Therefore...I shall DEFINITELY be dtd tonight... (we did last night too, poor OH will be knackered).

I've been using clear blue opk too, and today was my third flashing smiley face..... I'm hoping this is ovulation or that we're very close to it

You're definitely not alone!! I really knew nothing either!! I thought I was bad then I explained to OH about how a woman's cycle worked and the genuine look of shock on his face when I told him about the fertile window was hilarious. I think we spend so much of our lives trying not to get pregnant that everyone assumes that it's easy. If only.

I'm a bit hit and miss with CM so I can't really use it as an indicator but I'm trying to work it out lol.

Ah, mine comes in on the three days leading up to ovulation as well. It's my main indicator. Glad you've covered a few days, best get tomorrow covered as well, lol

I'm think im going to test tomorrow , I will be 10 dpo I think . It's my first cycle so I don't really know what my cycle is yet but I feel really off like I could be pregnant. I've been feeling very nauseous the past couple of days and just not right . So we will see what happens tomorrow.

Well, i was silly ad tested early and of course it was negative so i've had a bit of a cry and put my big girl knickers back on lol

Apparently my AF is due 6th Aug if fertility friend is right and I just ovulated late rather tjan not at all. I'll test thursday or Friday I think. so 11/12dpo. unless af comes sooner xx
