August babies

I was a late August baby. I got straight As at GCSE and 4 x As at A-level and a first in my degree at University of London.

From my experience of working in the classroom, I would say that they tend to catch up with one another in the end. I think what goes on at home is most important, some of the youngest children in my class were ahead of the September/October born.

I'm sure your little one will be absolutely fine!

Xxx

Apologies for any typos!

Im an August baby :) (23rd)

Cant remember being the youngest when I started school but it was in Scotland and they go back earlier than England so might not have been a problem there but I do remember when we moved down south to Portsmouth they wanted me to repeat a year as i was only days out of being in that year anyway. My mum went mental and said there was no way they were putting me in the lower year.

Advantage - I actually left school at 15

Disadvantage - After 2 years at catering college I couldnt serve alcohol or work the bar when I started work until I turned 18. Also my 18th was shit because after 3 months most of the college people had gone their seperate ways with jobs etc

Lol tinks- having birthdays in the summer holidays :(

Everyone is on holiday :( xx
