So, I love bfeeding and my lo is thriving on it but she is driving me demented!! She constantly moans, fidgets, bounces, looks around at blanks walls, licks me and the worst- she PULLS my hair and its really sore. Petty I know but someone please tell me this is just a phase?? My hair is getting cut off tomorrow.
Plus after 16 weeks of sleeping through, she is now waking in the night - am convinced its because of the short feeds during the day - how can I get her to feed for longer?

No advice but my lo is the same (except for the sleeping through, he's never done that!) I think once they start to notice things around them they are easily distracted! And the hair pulling drives me insane! He really yanks it! Lol, usually have my hair tied back these days, couldn't cut it off!

I've know folk to stick a muslin over their head to keep them focused on the job at hand

Haha I think that would have worked when he was littler but now he'd probably just pull it off (and try to eat it, nothing like sucking on a muslin) :)

how about trying a twiddle necklace?!? think DinoDaisy sell them... and facebook likers get 10%off :)

How old is lo? It could be sleep regression this happened to my lo at 4 months.
She also went through a phase of being fussy and fidgeting. If she fussed I would try and offer her a few times and if she snubbed it then I would just try again a while later.
She now likes to scratch at my skin :( ouch!!

Try putting something over Los head so that she won't get distracted x

Same here, 18 weeks and now waking at night. I'm offering feeds even more often (!) during the day! I find if I talk to my toddler while feeding the baby stops feeding and just grins at me! I used to talk to her and stroke her face but no chance now. I use a muslin to cover up in public but she's started pulling at it! I now tend to feed in the car if I can!
