My darling Isabella is driving me up the wall at the moment. She will just scream or shreak (sp??) at the slightest thing. She is not crawling yet and I think this is what is making her such a nightmare to be around at the mo.

She hates her bum being changed now and will not bend her legs to lay down and then we have a real screaming fit.

Im really not enjoying her at the moment - please tell me this phase passes??? :( :( :(

Dylan has always hated having his bum changed he would rather sit with a pooey bum...hope this phase passes soon for you

Ah thanks girls, got to change her bum in a min :x :x

Arianna is the same.... she is just about there on the crawling but is happy just shuffling on her bum.
She has started to pull herself up on furniture tho!

Bum changing isn't too bad unless she is tired she just wont cooperate!

hehe sorry for laughing!! Ellis is the same..... he has pick up a massive paddy stage.... he hits and kicks you if you say no or stop him doing something.... but i have to laugh to keep me sain!!! hehe xxxxxx

i'm afraid it is normal hun, she is trying to control things by having a paddy!!!! shes strong willed!!!
Georgia & Josh used to have a paddy when nappy time by going completely ridgid & trying to get away! it was a nightmare at nappy time.

now Louie when hes pooed i have to get someone to hold his hands ohterwise he'll put his hands in all the poo if i'm not quick enough

It must be the age, Stanley is the same.

He is not crawling or pulling himself up yet but wants to stand up all the time and has a paddy if I sit him down

I'm sure it's cause babies' brains develop faster than their bodies and they get really frustrated.

You just described my Joe to a tee. Exactly the same. I remember Jess being like this. I was so glad when she crawled and walked because it was like she had been released from something.

Joe is happiest when in his baby walker because he can scoot around but I want him to get around on his own.
