Well went to 2 shops first was morrisons an second was called savers an my aptamil milk has gone up although ive only just realised what milk i should be on for my baby as he was on stage one but hes been on solids for ages now so weaning an i should be on stage 3 because he just needs a drink an i now know stage one was to strong an making him sick aswell as 3 solids a day  but £8.99 :shock::eh::eh::mad::mad: all the others are £8.45 or something like that but no friggin my milk has to be the dearest an i forgot to take a baby voucher the dirty robbins beeeeeeeeeepppppsss!!!! lol i asked when i paid for them why it was the only one that had gone up in the baby milk but she was foreign an she said basically she doesnt know an i couldnt really understand the rest!! I was in that baby isle for ages today thinking wether to switch milk to something cheaper lol x

rip off!! thats very frustrating isnt it, sorry to hear it! xx

It seems its gone up in most places, apparently ASDA seems to be the best best from what ive heard as theres has barely changed price.

It means ive now got to find money to add to milk tokens which we used to just manage on baby milk tokens without having to pay nething extra. Its a joke as lil man cant take sma he was sick on it an cow an gate made him constipated an so we only had one left to choose from good job hes on solids 3 meals a day so i wont be buyin that many big containers like we used to they now last bout 2 weeks as hes on meals. friggin joke im so annoyed they might aswell stick it up to a tenner cos soon i wont be using it if i get my way lo will be on adult milk but im tryin to hold off for aslong as possible. i wud get them small cartons but i dont see the point to be honest lol cos i wud need to buy them for every day so i mite aswell get a big one. I thought theyd be atleast one shop that kept the same price rather than gone up. might try local tesco see what they put the price as. i think the further the shop cheaper the milk for babies but i think theyve all gone up in high shops but just aptamil i think all should go up not just that milk!! x

Tesco is apparently one of the most expensive, your almost over the worst with formula now so your just going to have to ride it out :(

Seems the supermarkets are taking advantadge of the VAT increase!!

surely formula shouldn'tbe affected by the VAT rise???

i dont understand why the other milk hasnt gone off though its only aptamil they taken the mick there lol. No one knows why its gone up but im wondering if alot more people are using that milk instead of the other milk so they decided to notch that up or if the other milks guna be outdated or something makes you think though. Its all expensive stuff im just glad i wont be buyin as much now because lil man dont have much of it but i need to keep him on it for bit longer i dont wana introduce him to normal milk just yet so im tryin to carry it out. makes ya annoyed abit lol x

I don't know if it's included on milk vouchers but we use HIIP organic milk as it's the only one that doesn't make Seb scream!

It shouldnt, but we all know that supermarkets wont pass up an oppurtunity to slap a few extra pennies on top of something if there is an excuse

Our cow and gate is still the same £7.20 in Asda xx

We feed Oliver Aptamil Comfort as he suffers from Colic/Constipation and I nearly cried in Morrisons (was having a bad day anyway!!) when I went for a tin to find it has increased from £8.75 to £9.99!!!! Luckily I was using a £5 petrol voucher towards my purchase but we are considering finishing this tin off and changing to Cow & Gate Comfort instead which is £7.45 in Asda instead.
There is no VAT on baby formula and I am disgusted that they charge so much when some of us have no choice but to bottle feed otherwise our babies would starve!!!!!

I've got a tub of aptimil in the cupboard but Chloe won't have anything other than breast. Let me check the sell by date ...

It's in date but the tub is really heavy otherwise I would have sent it out free buy p&p will be too high sorry ladies xxxx

how old is little one if hes on step 3 which is for 12 months over your best off giving him cows milk itll be cheaper in the long run amy has been on it since 9 months and its not affected her in anyway it works out way heaper for cows milk you have to give him whole milk thou

I would try HIPP. Its working brilliantly with my LO. Everyone seems to forget about it. Poor formula. In sainsburys the pack I swear has gone down. Its £6.97 for an 800g box which lasts us a week. That with the milk vouchers means I only pay 77p a week.

that's really good! we buy Riley all the HiPP jars of food and porridge, but we always used aptamil so we don't wanna change it. he seems to love it nonetheless :] the VAT has gone up but i didn't know it affected food :O

It says from 6 months on wards look on the box i put him on it because stage one made him really sick aswell as having 3 meals of solids a day so i needed to change and its stopped his sickness with him being on stage 3!!

He cant have cow and gate he gets too constipated on it. Was advised to go on Aptamil to help constipation which it has done an is pooin more on cow an gate he would poo once every 3 day :(.
He cant go on SMA he was really sick with it at the hospital so basically ive no choice but for aptamil anyways lol.
Stage is for when ur child starts weaning its only a type of drink for them which is what he needs as hes taking 3 solids a day sometimes an extra aswell because he was a hungrier baby an they say you can wean at 6 months so the box says 6months. Im glad i put him on stage 3 because with the amount my child was being sick on stage 1 aptamil an having 3 meals a day the stage 1 is for a proper feed in babies that are not being weaned lol :D x

Not seen the HIPP baby formula :S ive only seen 3 types of baby formula which is cow an gate sma and Aptamil on the shelves lol x
