Aptamil causing bad wind?

My 12 day old is majorly windy. I've changed to dr browns bottles but he's up all night with bellyache I can feel it bubbling in his belly and he's crying and writhing around for 3-4 hours in the middle of the night

He was initially on SMA but only for a few days after the hospital bottles we used powder and he seemed to struggle to poo so went to aptamil. Should I have stuck it out on SMA til he got used to the powder?

i gave phoebe aptamil and it made her really constipated and have smelly wind. ive now put her on cow and gate comfort milk on advice by dr and hv and shes a compleatly different baby she sleeps better. she still has a bit of wind but isnt smelly but is alot happier on it i hope your little one feels better soon hun. also have you spoken to your hv about the constapation? xxx
