I think I have! I've never been thin but I've lost a stone since I found out I was pg (just from healthy eating and sickness!) but my belly is sticking out further and further! I can't hide it for much longer! Xx

Hope you're okay, Naomi! I'm on the 2 week count down from tomorrow too :) xx

Can't you send yourself home? Hope it gets better!

I have my 12 week scan in 10 days. I'll be just under the 12, but I think the MW wanted me to have it before she goes on holiday so I can let her know about the cyst.

Just had my booking appointment and oh my god I think I'm in love with the midwife! She's just perfect... I mentioned I would definitely like to aim for a home water birth, and it would either be her or the other midwife delivering the baby (I hope it's the lady I saw today! I can definitely see her as my midwife!) After 2 attempts to no avail she couldn't do my bloods (I have very rubbish veins!) so I have to go to the phlebotomist on 20th and they will probably have to take it out my wrist or hand (deep joy...). We've decided to get the Down's Symdrome test as well, we figured why not? Dating scan will probably be between 1-5 October as I gave these dates because I have the time off work. OH has just been offered a job as well, so all is going well :) xx

That sounds great and amazing she supported your home birth plans :)

Aw sounds like you've got a good one there keeptrying! I've got to go separately for bloods too- think they are going to do them the same time as my 12wk scan. Xxx

I'm failing at life right now. So tired, so much to do but all I can think about it finally seeing bubs in 14 days.

I think that the familiar surroundings of being at home will help me so much to keep calm and relaxed, and although I know very little about labour, I know it can only go better if you stay relaxed and positive rather than going into meltdown! The only thing about being at the hospital is that an epidural is available, but I know for a fact I would completely freak out at the fact that my body is totally numb, so I wouldn't want one anyway. We are a 3 minute drive from the hospital so if there were complications it would just be a quick dash there :) fingers crossed for an uncomplicated low-risk pregnancy! xx
