I've just to log on from work to let tell you ladies that I've just got my 12 week scan date through. Tuesday 24th September at 10.00 - which couldn't be more perfect as it's my day off and in the morning time so no stressing through the day!! I'm so excited, 2 weeks feels like ages but hopefully it'll fly by!! X

I had my midwife appointment today. Am being referred to a consultant because I'm 42! In other news, I hate having blood taken and ended up laughing hysterically throughout the whole procedure!

Hi Beckylou, do you know why you have to see a consultant ? I am asking as I am 42 first pregnancy and have seen my midwife but I am not being referred. I also have to give blood then have a combination test (scan and more blood) between 11 and 14 weeks, then depending on the results is if I go for the amniocentesis.

Hi ladies, not good news, the pregnancy has not progressed got a scan booked for next Friday to see where things are but looks and feels like something is happening on its own. We're sad but it's not totally unexpected from the scan on Saturday

Wishing you all a happy and healthy pregnancy. I will continue to pop in from time to time to see how you all are but it's a goodnight from me xx

Hi purple I'm so sorry to hear this. Why do you need to wait for another scan didn't they offer any treatment? Sometimes the body will 'let go' once you know the bad news. Take care of yourself hugs xx

Oh no pebbles I am so sorry what horrible news. I hope you and your oh will be ok and that you've got some supportive people round you. Hope you are back in tri 1 soon hun.

I've not even read my letter yet, my mum popped by my house + said I had post and I couldn't wait until I'm home at nearly 7pm so I made her open it! I'm even excited to read my letter, haha! Xxx

Oh I'm glad I'm not the only one excited about a sheet of paper! I text OH straight away and just got lots of happy smiley faces back - he's already decided the picture will be the first page of baba's 'memory book' he's planning making! Baby has turned him all soft already Me too, I've already started my own wee countdown! Xxx

Hopefully we will have a stress free couple of weeks waiting!!
We are not telling people straight away. It's my birthday on the 8th of October and we are going for a meal with my parents at the place where we got married on the Sunday before, so going to wait and tell them then. Then going up to Scarborough later that week to see hubby's family so going to tell them then in person. Then once we are back ill tell my employer then start telling everyone else! Got it all planned out!
Know I'm going to be itching to tell people straight after the scan though! Xxx

I'm still waiting for my letter and getting really impatient now !!!!

I thought it was quite sweet for him, he's normally not like that at all - I've warned him my arts + crafts mad mother will probably have the same idea so they can do it together, haha! Well we have nothing planned as of yet, I really don't know who to tell first/when! I'd like to tell my employer first in case something goes on facebook as I've got girls I work with on facebook and I don't want my manager finding out from them first but then I want my family to know!! So exciting. That's such a lovely plan, you'll always remember this birthday that's for sure!!

Aw Blanco, I hope you get it ASAP! I was going mad waiting and I only saw my midwife last week! Xxx

Yep should definitely be a memorable birthday!! I'm tempted to tell my employer before my bday just in case something ends up on Facebook when we tell our families... Will see.
Wish time wasn't going quite so slowly!!
