Hi ladies,

Would anyone mind if I joined this group? I am new to this forum, in fact this is my very first post! If it is ok to join my expected due date based on lmp would be 14th April.

Thanks very much! Yes this is our first. Been a bit of a long road to get here too! So far its going ok, still not sure i believe it. Have a few cramps here and there, quite bad bloating but I'm on progesterone suppositories so that may well be to blame for that! Other than that no other real symptoms as yet. How about you? Seems like there are quite a few April mums to be! Xx

Yeh we've got quite a tribe now, and still growing. Must be a baby boom!! Yeh it took me longer to get here than I hoped, and sadly mc a couple of months ago, but hoping all will go smoothly now!! Yeh my symptoms are mainly just bloating and tiredness so far. Had a little bit of nausea the other evening but nothing since. I didn't get sickness last time but would quite like it this time as think it will make me feel more officially pregnant!!
Roll on the 12 wk scan! Are you going to have an early scan too or just wait it out? Xxx

Ring your epu and ask if they'll give you one. Mine said when i was in for the erpc that i could have a scan when i was pg again due to the mc.
I had really bad wind last week but this week Im constipated! Can't seem to find a happy medium!! Xxx

Ive had my scan. Saw my little sac and fetal pole developing. She said its too early to see a baby but everything looks a good size etc. But my pain is cos Ive got a little pregnancy cyst on my ovary but she said its nothing to worry about, its just uncomfortable, and will absorb eventually.

Morning ladies, hope everyone is well

It seems that everyone got their midwife/booking in appt easy enough, I'm still waiting for mine!! Cant beleive what a palaver it has been, had to do self referral in the end as my doctors are rubbish (wont bore you with the whole story) Anyway I sent an email and have had a response from the community midwifery manager who has been very nice and even agreed to meet me, she is calling me this morning, finally may get somewhere. Its been really stressful

I've been getting what feels like stitches in my lower abdomen on the left all day yesterday and my tummy felt sore, and today my left side aches, even my arm and shoulder feels heavy, may be i slept funny but would be nice to have a professional opinion. Poor woman wont know whats hit her with all my complaints lol

I was saying to my OH last night I'm so shocked at the trouble some lady's are having getting booked in! We must be so lucky where we live, I phoned and got booked in to see my midwife so easily, I'll be 8+5 when I see her. I work within healthcare and couldn't imagine making someone wait as long as some of the stories I've read on here for an appointment.

At least you're getting somewhere though, it just takes getting in touch with the right person! Healthcare professionals should be making this time easier for you, not stressing you out. Xxx

Yes its a nightmare. I just spoke to the hosp again and the other hsop who said they would fax my details over never!! She took them and said i would hear from them within 2 weeks and my appt would probably not be until i was 9-10 weeks as there is such a back log!!!!

I also said about the aches i have been getting and she told me i need to go see my GP as its too early for midwifes to get involved, wtf?? I cant wait until this woman calls me, my complaint list has just got longer

That's shocking and so insensitive! I phoned my local midwife office when I was only 3 weeks for some advice, left a message and within 30 mins someone phoned me back with an answer.

You'll have to let us know what happens after your phone call, I wonder if an appointment will miraculously appear for you?? I hope it does! Xx

Hehe, it's not all bad but I'll warn you it does rain quite a bit X
