just when I thought my sleeping couldn't get any worse...now I literally cannot lie down without searing pains through my pelvis and pubic bone and the worst aching you can imagine through my tummy. if I'm not exactly vertical at all times it's so sore im so exhausted and just really anxious that it'll come to the day I give birth and I'll have had zero sleep and have zero energy.
been sat up nearly all night while everyone sleeps, keep drifting off and closing my eyes, leading to me slouching down gradually or I'll sneakily try a less vertical position...I get about 5 minutes then the pain wakes me up again.
It's quiet on April mummies page now! All you lucky ladies with your little ones, hope your all doing well Xx
Ah blueberry Hunni I understand how you are feeling I was the same at the end all you can do is rest when you can to keep your energy up....can you sit with lots of pillows around your back and hips for support then one behind your head so you can drift off? Have you packed an energy drink like lucozade in your hospital bag to use in labour....I ended up using mine after as it was all a bit quick but it was nice to get a sugar hit after a long period without food!!
Mrs T I had enough by about your point start resting to be ready to go!! xx
The heartburn sucks blueberry! I've had it the whole way through this time where as I didn't get it till about 6 months with my son then it disappeared once he had engaged.
This time it's worse despite baby being well and truly engaged. Normally gaviscon tablets work for me but after 6 last night I tried milk, Rennies and liquid gaviscon. Then just gave up lol.
My son had loads of hair so old wives tales were true with him so we'll see with this one - the amount of heartburn makes me think I'll be giving birth to a gorilla lol.
I feel good today so going to take my little man out. I really do want baby here soon though!
Blueberry you'll just go with the flow in labour... I didnt have time to start worrying about the birth as didnt expect it to all kick off 2hrs into my due date then had every intervention going starting with epidural, induction, foreceps, ventouse then finally the c sec but what matters is she arrived safe and well into the world xx
Ahh I do feel for u still pregnant ladies it's really no fun at the end. Sounds like U are so close now Blueberry. I had drinks in my bag but didn't end up having them either- no time at all!! I had a jug of water brought in for me lol!!
I keep coming on and checking who's still around but I don't want to rub it in that I have my baby already!
Jacob has been here 9 days already and we've settled in well at home. My older 2 are over the moon with him. I'm breastfeeding him and it seems to be going well so far. Had the best nights sleep last night- he settled at 10, woke at 4.30 and then 8am!! He will probably make up for it to day lol !!
Ah gorgeous Rith well done on bf I wasn't able to sadly but that's another story not for here!
Please know I am thinking about you ladies but as Ruth says I don't want to rub it in xxx
Hope you feel better ASAP Mrs p. Good luck Sarah!
Blueberry I'm here with you. So uncomfy and exhausted from not sleeping. My 2.5 year old had me up all last night as well which didn't help! Do you have an induction date? X
Discharged myself about 10pm last - BP was raised gave me a beta blocker and it stabilised and I am anaemic but it was taking forever to be seen and they wanted to keep me in - away from my babies not a bloody chance! Think I was probably anaemic when I left hospital but they didn't take blood while I was on post natal so they wouldn't have known grrrr xx
Baby Jacob was born at 4.56 this morning, 25th April, weighing a lovely bundle of 8lb 5oz and he's absolutely perfect 💙 got the water birth I wanted and he's breast feeding like a little pro today. Completely in love and over the moon Xxx
