We have lift off! Losing mucus plug and contractions have started!
Might just get my May 4th baby!

Midwife been and examined me 3cm and cervix starting to thin.
A way off yet but it's a start! Contractions vary between 2 mins apart and 5 but lasting a minute or so.
Coping with contractions by using tens as they're a bit nippy but can talk through them.

So that was super quick! Less than a hour established labour, only one midwife made it in time just to get her gloves on!

So I got my home birth - and it's a girl!!!
Will update more later.
