Oh wow MrsSmoo next Tuesday! That's so close now. I had a growth scan this morning and baby A approx 5lb 6oz and baby B 5lb 13oz.
Glad the steroid injections aren't too sore, I guess they will be the easy part in the grand scheme of things! xx

ooh twins..how exciting. glad everything is going okay for you all. not sure how your managing so well with two, I could pull off a very convincing walking dead character today with just carrying the one! #exhausted Xx

I have a growth scan on Monday next week as I am classed as a pre-eclampsia risk from my first pregnancy I just had a very odd MW appt I have to go every week from 34-40 weeks to have my BP and urine checked due to the issue already mentioned. The MW seemed confused and said she felt it was overdone but would do as she was told.....I was more panicked by the fact that I said I have my scan on Monday and she said "why" - I said because the consultant has told me that was what he wanted....

It is my understanding that PE can turn on a penny my BP was 110/60 today (almost on the low side!) but that could change so I would rather be safe and checked regularly. I am alarmed that it seems the community midwives and the hospital are operating almost separately and one doesn't seem to know what the other wants or why....!!!

Mat leave starts next Thursday can't wait I so ready to finish baby head down now and feels like a bowling ball at the end of the day and BH are strengthening!!

Hope the last days of work went well girls!! Does sound odd MrsP, glad you've got the scan soon anyway- always feels better to have more appointments just to keep an eye on things.

Had 38 wk appointment today, baby's head now engaged. Have to go back next week to keep an eye on my swollen hands/feet. Blood pressure is good and urine clear all way through so hopefully she is just being cautious!

Kitchen still not finished, one more week at least please baby!!!

How are we all today?? Xxx

Feel like absolute poo! Runny nose, sneezing and banging headache all night which has just worn off. 38 weeks today, I can't wait for this little lady to evacuate her bum!
How's you? X

Ok thanks a busy morning went to visit a friend who hAd her baby a week ago and had a cuddle ahhhhh made me excited they smell so good and are so cute!!!!

End is in sight Chrissi - I hope you feel better now?

Saw midwife yesterday for 34 week checks - all good and she's happy for my home birth providing the community midwife confirms all ok after house check at 36 weeks.

Still feeling good, a bit tired and lots of heartburn at night but otherwise life is still pretty normal.

Not too bad. Tired courtesy of the toddler who hates sleep!! Just back from her weekly swimming lesson which will hopefully tire her out!
I feel pretty good in myself, quite uncomfy by the end of the day but at 35 weeks I think it's to be expected! Hope you feel better ASAP Chrissi!

I'm doing well. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and I'm struggling in the evening getting to sleep as I have restless leg syndrome!! It takes me hours to fall asleep and it don't help when my oh decides to snore all night long too

Hope you feel better soon chrissi! Especially before labour!

I'm feel ok, all major DIY/decorating has been done so now it's done to spring clean!! Which is hard at 36w4d! But I get great satisfaction when I'm one more room down and looking how I want it for the baby!!

Any team yellowers getting
Increasingly excited to find out what your having?! This is our first time being team yellow and I'm so certain it's a boy I'm worried I'll be disappointed if it's a girl (not that I wouldn't love two girls, if anything that's all I've ever really wanted! It's just not what I have in my head now!) xx

Make the most of it ladies, time has dragged since 37 weeks! I got all my last minute bits done as thought labour was on its way Tuesday after 24 hours of tightenings 10mins apart, gradually got less and less each day, now I'm extra fed up lol!
Glad you're all coping well,I wish sleep was easier, atleast we'll have a reason to be awake when we've got our beautiful babies to look at x

Time going slowly for me too but still feeling ok. Starting to feel a bit uncomfortable today, nothing that feels like labour but just a few niggles. Been so lucky so far so can't complain at 38 weeks! Feeling massive now, here is my bump today...

I feel like pants all the time so trying to focus on other things, keeping busy and trying to get as comfortable as possible with an acrobatic octopus dwelling inside me!

I'm convinced I'm having a girl and will be totally unprepared if it pops out with a willy lol
Can't wait for baby to arrive now. 25 days 'til EDD and they can't go quick enough!!!

aw can't believe some of you have been so patient and are still waiting to see what your your having! what a lovely surprise. we're all ready for our little man, feeling more uncomfortable as time goes on, end of each day and throughout the night. wish I was able to sleep more! I'm 36 weeks on Sunday..active little monkey in there :) Xx
