**** APRIL MUMMIES 2016!!!**** Almost there!****

Jedi, milk production is at its highest in the evening ( mum is a breast feeding councillor) also drink plenty too. Hope you're getting on well with your little one xx

Fenugreek as you say Jedi is good. Also try coconut milk/cream. Coconut anything is magic and it helps your supply. If you can bring something home with you that smells of him that'll help and lots of photos too. It's hard work hun but you're doing an amazing job already. Remember his tummy is still tiny so anything you can give him is pure liquid gold <3

I'm really uncomfortable now too. Baby's movements are so big now I end up curling my toes and gritting my teeth in pain. It's exhausting :(

Do you wear hospital gown to labour and give birth in ladies.... I have bought two nighties but they were to button down for baby and don't fancy getting sweaty in them and have nothing for after.

Or any other clothing suitable for labour?

It's up to you Hun wear whatever you're comfortable in.
I was in the water for a while so just wore a bikini top when giving birth.
Was mostly in pjs for labour though.

I wore just a regular oversized nightie both times. After I was able to shower I changed into one suitable for breastfeeding.
With my second I wore a hospital gown after having an epidural. And took that off lying in bed butt naked for the first half day. (I was in an isolated room having a blood transfusion, IV antibiotics and had a catheter in so not on a ward with lots of people lol)

Honestly, wear whatever is comfortable it'll probably end up coming off anyway :P Leave all dignity at home too. In hospital your body is no longer your own :P xXx

I gave birth in a crop top last time. I was so hot!

I've got some really soft loose joggers (to go in and beforehand) and like a soft sports bra type top...I'll hopefully be in the pool so I'll just keep that top on. hope those will be okay. I've got a soft long pj top for afterwards and I'll put on some soft hareem pant type trousers afterwards I think Xx

Soo today I have 4 weeks left til D day! Secretly hoping for an easter bunny though :D

I had a nightie on for my first but stripped off lol! My 2nd I think was the same but didn't feel quite as hot !! This time I'm hoping for a water birth and was going to get a tankini but I don't want to be wrestling it off when it's wet so I'm undecided yet ...
I've had such a relaxing day for a change- booked today and Monday off work and I've literally done nothing all day- kids have been at school and I've done no housework. Had a lovely long bubble bath this afternoon it was bliss. Roll on next Friday when I finish work.....
I think I might live in the bath this last 5 weeks!! Hoping for an early baby too Chrissi x

Are you starting any of the old wives tales Ruth to bring on labour? I'm on double t bags of RLT twice per day starting today. Also going to attempt to dtd twice each week, but we'll see about that one haha!

I've been having Raspberry leaf tea since 32 weeks. Thought about having sex often but then laughed and changed my mind.
Baby can come anytime in April. I'll be 38 weeks by then. Just got the slog of getting there first. Sigh...

Ha ha ha at dtd! I swear that worked for my last 2 but I couldn't think of anything worse at the mo lol! First DS was 8 days early and DD was on her due date. I took raspberry leaf capsules with DD x

I have been on RLT too since 32 weeks, but I use two t bags in each cup now, tastes alot nicer too!
We've managed once this week dtd, it's not painful now but I think that's cause I can relax now about preterm labour. The only thing is you never know if it's mucous plug or stuff... Sorry TMI!
I hope I'm a little early I really do! I don't know how you've all bee at work, I finished at 29 weeks on 14th Jan as my hips were so painful.
Xx

Hi girls :) my little one is doing great! He might be taken off the NCPAP completely today... They are upping his feeds every 6 hours even though I told them I'm not making much milk yet, so that worried me a bit... I'm getting a maximum of 20ml every 2 hours... And they will up him until 5ml now and then slow down a bit on the food. He'll be weighed tonight so I'll probably get an update when I go for our night cuddle. He's a wriggly little one though! Keeps peeing on his incubator somehow... Yesterday my husband had a cuddle and baby peed his shirt xD and he keeps pulling his heart sensors. The other day they were losing his heartbeat... Turns out he pulled his sensor and it got on his head :D

Aww jedi, sounds like your little dude is going to be a handful! Can't believe that he's even here still! Xx

Happy mother's day girls :) Hope you all have a marvelous day!
Chris has officially been taken off the NCPAP and he has started to gain weight, he lost 200gr after birth and has gained 100 back. He's also holding his body Temperature brilliantly now.

post hopping , so glad he's doing well Jedi! Happy Mother's Day to you X

Awwww bless him such a strong little fighter. Happy 1st Mother's Day Jedi. Hope you are feeling well now too xxx

sounds like he's doing brilliantly jedi, so pleased for you little family :)

partner got me a cute little cushion with 'mummy and me' on that matches little man's bedding and a card 'from your little boy' yesterday for Mother's Day to bump kinda thing, was adorable. wrote how he can't wait for cuddles and kisses and to meet me, signed it with the name we've chosen.
Hope all you ladies had a lovely Mother's Day.
Had the worst sleep last night, cramping low down and sore ribs..just can't get comfortable on my sides at all. not even a bath helped before bed. 34 weeks and counting! Xx
