**** April 2019 mummies ****

Eughhh why is it that at the weekend the nauseous isn't that obvious, and as soon as the working week starts, bam, sickness feelings galore

My boss this morning 'Still no morning sickness?' as if to ask in a way that am i vomiting in the morning! so i said 'oh no its and all day sickness feeling' and that was the end of that conversation

He has two kids of his own, surely he would know its not as obvious as have a quick puke in the morning and thats that

I know how you feel. People assume youre lying about having morning sickness. I find its normally those who have never been pregnant or men that have no understanding. Just because your not physically being sick doesnt mean youre not feeling sick. From my experience feeling constantly sick is just as bad as being physically sick. I hope it eases for you soon!

Urgh I know exactly what you mean, I’ve felt horrendous again today so much so that I had to go home sick after dinner, I just couldn’t cope sitting there all day on the verge of throwing up, it’s also embarrassing dry heaving really loudly in the toilets for all my colleagues to hear :-(
My managers had kids of her own but I don’t think she had much sickness - she suggested I try ginger today and seemed disappointed I was going home early, so I think sometimes even people who have had kids don’t really get how bad it can be if they didn’t experience much sickness themselves! Xx

Hi everyone. I hope everyone is well - or as well as early pregnancy allows. Im currently in Tenerife and the day after we arrived BOOM morning sickness hits. At least Im being able to sleep through the worst of it. Had an amazing 7wks 3 day scan as well. Nice strong heartbeat despote the bleeding xx

Aww congratulations coles that’s great news, hope you enjoy your holiday as much as the morning sickness allows! Xx

I do feel for you night owl, your sickness seems to be one of the worst out of us April Mummys :-(

I agree, unless they have been through it themselves, some people almost dont get how bad you really can feel :-(

I almost had a breakdown yesterday when i couldnt see the bread stash we usually have - i was like a crack addict asking the office manager where it was   which made my work colleague question why i was eating bread when 'you never eat bread' so i let the cat out the bag to him

IVW you are hilarious 😂🤣 you could have just said you fancied a change! I wish I could just tell more people but I’m convinced I’ll jinx myself or something! I know it’s silly, it’s getting a bit difficult to hide it now though as I’m sick all the time my family and friends must be wondering why I’ve hardly been to see anyone, 13 days until my scan, hurry up!

It sounds like you are getting just as 'irritated' as me with not being able to tell people :wall2: We are so close, but yet so far!

I have definitely become a bit more relaxed with telling people at work, more so because i am a bl**dy bad liar and my face gives everything away, so i am not even worrying about it.

We are nearly there girls just hang in a bit long and it will all be worth it, and hopefully soon be able to enjoy pregnant life.
Im 12 weeks today! Its been a long time coming but ive made it. 2 days until my scan! When does the second trimester technically start? 12 or 13 weeks?

Thank you! Its been so hard this time as with my first i had 2 scans before the 12 week one. Where as this time the 12 weeks scan is the first! Just want to hear a strong heart beat and i will be happy. I cannot wait to tell everyone now. X

Hi girls! Hope you’re all well. :)
Was in town this afternoon and couldn’t help but buy this adorable baby grow set that says ‘I <3 My Daddy’ for my OH... it’s the first thing I’ve bought for the baby! Eeek! I’m 12 weeks tomorrow, but have to wait til 13 weeks to have my scan as we’re going to visit the OH’s family in Norwich tomorrow. Excited to see them as we had to tell them over the phone about the baby because they live so far away, so it’s going to be good to see them for the first time since they found out the news!
It’s going to be 8 painful days waiting for the scan! Xx

One week today until my scan and the wait will be over :)

I am so looking forward to see everyone posting about their 12 week scans, it will give me something to do while I wait for mine, is yours tomorrow Laura?

I’m still so undecided about finding out the gender, has anyone secretly got any preferences? (I know we will all be made up with whatever we get) I keep thinking I want a boy then thinking no I want a girl ha ha x

We will definitely find out, its nice to have the sex scan to look forward to as when he or she arrives it will be the best thing in the world regardless of what sex they are, even though we will know <3
