**** April 2019 mummies ****

Don’t know if I should be worrying or not! Got my first positive last Friday at 3w3d on a frer and again the next day, did a Tesco one yesterday afternoon with diluted wee and there was a line still but a lot lighter. I did another Tesco one this morning and it’s a lot darker then yesterday but I just thought it would of been more darker by now. I know frer are a lot more sensitive then Tesco so maybe it’s that, will post a pic of my Tests if it works xx

Haha it’s okay mummymoreton, I’ve had various problems but all past problems have been fixed with surgery so now it’s just a leaking heart valve (which is under control). My heart specialist knew I was planning a family and he gave us the go ahead. :D Now here we are! As far as I’m aware it’s just 2 more extra scans to make sure everything is progressing nicely (already had an early scan due to a bleeding scare but everything was great and little bean has a heartbeat <3) and a couple of check ups just with my heart specialist to make sure I’m okay (: xxx

Aaah fab that's reasurring the cardiologist was happy for you to get pregnant. So exciting glad little bean is doing well and it sounds like they are going to be keeping an eye on you. They don't do much extra for me to be honest. It's just they plan the induction but even that's out the window now. Have they talked about delivery to you yet? Xxx

Cardiologist just said he’d be happy for me to have a normal vaginal birth :) which I’m super happy about. I’m definitely one of those people though who will be asking for every drug under the sun to get me through 🤣 What about you? Any delivery plans yet? Xxx

I always find I can never tell with a blue dye test how strong the line is, I just find them harder to read then a pink dye test, I don’t think there’s anything worrying about those tests at all, it’s definitely positive! I would honestly advise not testing again it just adds to the huge anxiety of the first trimester, However if you are going to do it then use another frer as you have something to compare it to - I.e the ones from last week, or get a clearblue digital weeks indicator where there is no line to stress over whether it’s dark enough or not xx

I wouldn’t be worried. I only did blue die tests and they never looked particularly strong. But I also wouldn’t test any more. X

Just back from our first mid wife appointment, all low risk and all pretty straight forward <3

Quite surprised at how many appointments there are  but good to know you are being checked up on regularly.

In the mean time I will be cracking on with my pelvic floor exercises

so worried today :-( have had a little bit of brown discharge, now I’m panicking so much
At the same time though I’ve had quite a bit of nausea starting yesterday teatime, had it all last night and today, but now cos of the brown discharge my stomach is in knots, I hope it’s just some old blood making it’s way out as my uterus is growing, I’m sat here literally shaking, Don’t know what to think :-(

Yay that’s great IVW, next big appointment should be 12 week scan

I had a tiny bit last night and had a little panic but I’ve read a lot and it sounds like a lot of people get it. We had sex the night before and apparentlynyour cervix is so full of blood vessels at this time that it can cause a bit of damage resulting in a tiny bit of blood, and also the placenta bedding in apparently can cause some trauma. Try not to panic xx

Thanks you haylz, I’m gonna try not to panic now, you are right lots of women have it and it turns out to be harmless xx

Got my scan tonight I'm so scared. Going from period dates I'm 6+5 today... But not sure when I obvulated so could be less. I'm convinced they aren't going to be able to find a heartbeat and will book me in for next week!! Will be the longest week of my life!!

I had brown discharge for a couple of days, and I’m not saying this will happen to you but mine then turned pinky red colour so of course I rang the emergency gynie and as I mentioned a couple of days ago I just had a slight hematoma and the baby was completely fine and had a healthy heart beat and everything was great. The sonographer said hematomas are really common and can sometimes cause brown/ pink discharge so as long as it’s brown and not bright red and fresh then I wouldn’t be too worried. But I know how hard it is not to panic xxx

8 weeks today and the morning sickness has subsided. Which is lovely but on the other hand has made me paranoid as hell! Why does this 12 scan seem so far away still. If the early pregnancy scans werent so expensive where i live i would 100% book one. But i think £70 is extortionate!
How soon can you hear baby heartbeat on a home doppler?

Just catching up hope your all ok!
Oh night owl I am sure all is ok! You know I have had spotting since the word go it is starting to tail off now but everything seems to be fine so far so I am trying not to worry. If your concerned tell your midwife they may refer you to EPU for a scan xxx

Thanks mummymoreton, I’m trying not to stress and panic but it is so hard, I think the best thing for me to do is wait and see what happens over the next few days, I’ve been nearly throwing up all day in work today but not sure if it’s now from stress! Just going to have a lie down when I get in from work xx

I’m joining the spotting club...have had a bit of pink when I wipe this afternoon, almost exactly like what I had at implantation. Trying not to be too concerned, it’s nothing compared to the bleeding I had with my son and that all worked out. A little concerned because my son did give me a whack in the abdomen this morning (not intentionally).
Just hoping it will pass soon and not get any worse.
