So they couldn’t squeeze me in for a scan tomorrow 😰 the problems of living on a small island I guess. So my scan is now a week tomorrow! Am looking forward to looking at the thing that’s making me feel like I’m bloated 24/7, sick and tired.
Don’t remember ever having to wear maternity wear or using a bobble to keep my jeans up this early in any other of my pregnancies.

Someone at work has just asked me when I’m going for no2. It’s so hard to be blasé about it knowing!! People have been asking this practically since she was born though 🙄

My mom has also been buying baby vests!!! I’m really grateful obviously but I’ve had to tell her not to buy any more 🙈

I had to lie to my friends face the other day. She asked me when we were going to have another. We’re all quite open about things but I don’t want to tell too many people before ds. Especially people that might let it slip!

Booking in appointment went fine, she said I’m low risk in everything so will get the usual amount of appointments, MW is going to send off for my 12 week scan date so should get that in the post within a week, eeek! She worked me out to be due on 13th April so 6+2 but I’m going to stick with the date I worked out as her date was assuming I ovulated on CD15 but I didn’t even have the sex till CD16 and got positive opk CD17! Can’t bloody wait for 12 week scan, just need to distract myself until then x

awww this is amazing news

Yeah midwife worked my due date as 3/4 April but didn’t take into account my short cycle. But will go by whatever date I’m given after scan. Hoping they don’t change it too much , with ds they put me back a week which was annoying at the end when I went over. In my head I was 3 weeks overdue!!
It’s a long old wait but it’ll be here in no time.

Glad all went well night owl and exciting you have a private scan. When I had my 2nd not many places did private scans and they were very expensive. I had one done in before the stork in Liverpool cost me £95. There's a few places here on Wirral now. You can get an early reasurrance scan from 7 weeks for 45 xxx

I think I must have ovulated around the predicted time not expecting it to change too much my dates have always changed by a day or two. But I have been bang on 28 day cycle etc. My last period was 11th July xxx

People don’t realise how insensitive it is to ask, but I’m just as guilt of it
It’s not really lying...people will understand once you do tell them why you didn’t!
I’ve got an appointment on my digital notes for 24.09 at 13.20, but it doesn’t say for what or where!!!! I’m hoping it’s my scan, date is right.

Haha it’s okay mummymoreton, I’ve had various problems but all past problems have been fixed with surgery so now it’s just a leaking heart valve (which is under control). My heart specialist knew I was planning a family and he gave us the go ahead. Now here we are! As far as I’m aware it’s just 2 more extra scans to make sure everything is progressing nicely (already had an early scan due to a bleeding scare but everything was great and little bean has a heartbeat ) and a couple of check ups just with my heart specialist to make sure I’m okay xxx

I had one done in before the stork in Liverpool cost me £95. There's a few places here on Wirral now. You can get an early reasurrance scan from 7 weeks for 45 xxx

There’s loads of places doing it now, even the Liverpool women’s hospital are doing private scans for 55! I’ve found somewhere like 10 mins away from mine doing it for 45, could have booked it for 7 weeks but have decided to just wait the extra week until I’m 8 weeks so it’s more accurate and hopefully I’ll get to see more xx

Aaah fab that's reasurring the cardiologist was happy for you to get pregnant. So exciting glad little bean is doing well and it sounds like they are going to be keeping an eye on you. They don't do much extra for me to be honest. It's just they plan the induction but even that's out the window now. Have they talked about delivery to you yet? Xxx

Yes it's like that here! The sonographers in arrowe park have scanned me in the hospital and I have paid them privately in their own shop too. It feels like it's such a long wait doesn't it?! It's all I think about all day everyday at the minute xxx

Got my letter from the women’s, it looks like I’m going to be consultant led. Not sure why, is or has anyone been consultant led before? It also says my apt will take 4 hours!!! But doesn’t mention if this is my scan aswell. I’ll have to ring in the morning to check, I don’t want OH taking a day off if it’s not the scan

I met a mate today who’s 21 weeks. It was SO hard not to say anything!!!!!

Haha I know it helps having other crazy mummies to talk to. I always think so many women wouldn't even know they were pregnant yet and here we are I have known for nearly 3 weeks haha and not even quite 6 weeks! No wonder I am driving myself nuts! Xx

Are you Liverpool too?
Could be your scan too if they are doing booking in and scan on same day. They have changed it here so they are done separately now. You might be best ringing everywhere is different. And well done it's so hard isn't it Xx
